My wife LOVES to dance, but she accepts that I am a lost cause. You just described my footwork, except mine is in a more random order. 😊

Pistol-packing paternal pensioner perforates pistol-packing punk
Augie replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in Off the Wall
Oh no, I’m sorry. I wasn’t disputing what seemed to be happening there. I’m just saying….you never know. You lean on a horn too long and it can be taken poorly. -
Well then somebody needs to start another rumor!

The loss of life is tragic, regardless of the details. There is a reason I control my road rage. That chit can blow up in your face and ruin your day. -
The Myles Garret thread has 21 pages in 4 hours. Come on guys, this has been open since Jan 27. Let’s pick up the pace!!!

Do you still have the sports cards you collected as a kid?
Augie replied to BillsPride12's topic in Off the Wall
I bet we don’t hear from Mr Meadcoin anymore because he’s in the Big House! I have no idea when my collection of cards got tossed. I lived in 9 houses before leaving WNY for college. (Technically 8, but I lived in one of them twice.) I don’t know how long it took for my mother to stop moving those things around WNY. I’m sure there was nothing really valuable in there, and they have no intrinsic value to me. My album collection, however, was a big deal to me. It was a sad day when I realized they had gotten too warm in storage and were destroyed. -
Anyone ever do a CSA? (Community supported Agriculture)
Augie replied to Captain Hindsight's topic in Off the Wall
I value my flexibility a LOT. Plus, it’s not really a savings if we don’t eat $30 worth of vegatables every week. I’m intrigued by the concept, but I’d probably give up on it after one season. Loosely related, there was a community we where lived in Hilton Head that had a communal farm where people could rent a plot each season to grow their vegatables. It was well organized with storage and irrigation and people could drive or bike there to tend to their produce. We’ve never had the proper yard or sunlight to grow much of anything, but I think I’d love that, especially now that I’m retired. -

The one closest to me is $30/week with a 14 week minimum. No work is required and there are 130 shares. I have commitment issues. Does that mean I have to be at the pickup at a certain day/time every week? That might not be convenient, and we go away for a couple weeks every summer. That alone might cause me some pause. I suppose I could have the vegetarian DIL pick it up. Or…..I could just look for a better farmers market that gives me more flexibility. But I am very curious. -

This is very interesting to me. There is one that has a drop off very close to our house (Lovett School), and several a little farther away, like Marietta Square. How do you choose one? Just roll the dice? How big is the pickup window? Does that mean I have to be somewhere at a certain day and time every week? I’m not sure I love that level of commitment. . -

I had to look this up. I suppose you are referring to Community Supported Agriculture and not Canadian Standards Association or child sexual abuse. I have nothing to add, but I am very curious to learn something here. Is this some type of communal farming program? What is required of you? -
It’s UConn now, and it was Villanova before them. Our big man tore his ACL right before the season, then our leading scorer missed a stretch of games. Stuff happens. 🤷♂️ Bills fans get that.

I’m not shooting for a specific number or trying to use anyone more than we have to. But I would love to have the top guys healthy and fresh for the playoffs.

Win the trenches and the game gets a lot easier everywhere else. Kromer seems to have talent and they even have depth. Is that just resources spent (it doesn’t feel that way) or is it coaching? I have no clue about what the best path is, but we need to get both lines right. .

Cowboys closing in on a deal to make Brian Schottenheimer their next HC

Maybe Jerruh will have a little mini-stroke and send us Micah Parsons for a 3rd rounder? Why not? Almost everything else they do is stupid. -
I don’t follow the NBA anymore, or even watch the NBA Finals, but I don’t get this. .

Should I try and prevent my two year old from being a Bills fan?
Augie replied to letsgoteam's topic in Off the Wall
If you have something to bond over for life, that sounds like a good thing to me. Bonding over a bad team is at least as strong as over a good team. Win/win. -
Are you taking the bus?

Does Paul have a charity we can donate to? 😊 If you could convince him to take Chris Jones with him, we would be eternally grateful.

We scored 42 points against the Rams, and LOST, while we had 70 people over for the neighborhood holiday party. I just know they all talk about me behind my back now! 😊

It’s hard to believe that he wasn’t immediately run over by a bus. I mean, that feels like us, right?
-
If he DOES retire I hope he takes Chris Jones with him!
