I’ll never say we were the better team, because I think the Bengals would have beaten us twice if given the chance. But that was a bad set of circumstances and decisions. If I’m in slippery conditions like that I’d like to play less fearful in a zone, and mix in a lot more man coverage. It’s easier to try to run with them than play WAY off and try to break quickly on the ball. Slippery for our DLine too, so not much rush. That’s like shooting fish in a barrel.

Is your horseshoe upside down? 😋 Are the Bengals failures? They lost a SB and missed a chance to go to another. There is a gray area unless you have rings to show for your season. I think a better word for “momentum” is confidence. Confidence is a very real factor. You see a couple shots go down or make a few putts, you can play loose and free. The mind is an amazing thing!

I’m volunteering to be a Tennessee fan for the day as they take on the Pompous Dookies. EDIT: Right on cue, Duke player has an embarrassing flop. And they get the call. Ridiculous. EDIT #2: The same guy just did it AGAIN! They really are insufferable. And the refs just give them calls. It’s like getting too close to Brady, you know a call is coming. .

If only hindsight was correctable. We’d be RICH! 😋 .

I swear, I almost asked what the bottom pic was. The skin of the potato is great. The butter, sour cream, scallions and s/p are great…..but it’s the potatoes that turn me off.

If you missed the Xavier vs Kennesaw St game, find the highlights. X was up big early, down 13 in the 2nd half and came back to win. Blocked a layup with about 13 seconds left (yep) that would have lost the lead. Win or lose, HUGE entertainment! Survive and advance! I love this tournament!!!

He just turned 28? Why did I think he was much older? Seems like he’s been around forever! Not quite Frank Gore, but a well worn tire.

I remember back in my working days when everybody had “appointments” outside the bank the first week of the tournament. We skillfully crafted a cover story to get away, then we all showed up at the same sports bar to watch the tournament! 😂 Xavier vs Kennesaw State at 12:40 today. I hope yesterdays upsets were adequate warning for my #3 seed Xavier!

My point is less about the cap, and more about any “deadline”. It seems GB is ready to move on. People argue they don’t have to be in a hurry because Rodgers doesn’t have to be paid until August/September, while the Jets are basically without a real NFL QB. Pressure is on the Jets, they say. BUT, the Packers want any draft pick compensation THIS year, so the draft is the real deadline.

I keep hearing Green Bay can wait for months to close this deal the way his contract and pay deadline is structured, but isn’t the draft really the deadline? They want this years pick before the draft, right? Am I missing something?

Be careful. He seems nice enough, but he’s a bit off and will break into your car at a tailgate! I swear! And I was sitting in the car when this stranger rips my door open! I almost needed a change of clothes, and the rental car people weren’t going to be too happy either!

Was that in Orlando? I’ve been to the tournament in Orlando several times. Great memories!

I don’t care WHERE he comes back, but if he’s cleared and he wants to do it, I hope it works out for him. Seeing that as it happened was one of those “you’ll always remember the moment” things.

I need to see more of Alabama, but the big kid for Perdue looked impressive in the conference tournament. I mostly watch Big East (Xavier guy) until this time of year.
