I barely remember him talking. It was hard to hear over the smell. 😂 I don’t know where he was originally from, but it wasn’t anywhere clean. He was up there with the Limburger cheese sandwiches my dad would eat when I was a kid. There was no just ignoring it. It has to beat “the squirts”, doesn’t it?

There was another dad on my son’s middle school basketball team who, for some reason unknown to me, always wanted to sit next to me in the stands. He wasn’t a bad guy, other than the stench that comes with someone who hasn’t bathed in a year or two. That man’s stink could gag a maggot! Other parents on the team knew he was going to come in and sit next to me, so they would go find another seat when he walked into the gym. They saw no reason why they had to breathe near that man if they didn’t have to, so they cleared out in advances and make it less obvious. I didn’t blame them. So, what would I do to avoid him? I would fake trips to the restroom or concession stand, then come back and take a different seat. Sometimes it worked, other times he’d just join me in my new location, much to the chagrin of my new neighbors. Decades later that will still get a hearty laugh from the whole family! You almost have to try to stink that bad!

Thanks, but you lost me at vampires. I don’t do vampires or zombies. I’ll have to wait for the next thing she does.

I find this more interesting than most.

I think I’ve been to a movie theater once since Covid, and it was a Silver Spot dinner theater (like Cinebistro). The world changed rapidly on that front between Covid and streaming options.

I don’t know anything about her, or her movies, but she came off as very likable here promoting the new film. .

Bills trade Cordy Glenn to Bengals

You can’t fix accuracy problems. That’s been proven over and over. -

ESPN has no idea what year it is, or really much of anything. 🤷♂️ -

I don’t eat either, so I’ll take your word for it.

What’s the difference between grits and polenta? About $5. There is a place I used to go for lunch. (Note the past tense.) They have a great muffuletta sandwich. Few people do, but this was great version and heavy on the mortadella with a strong garlicky/olive paste. With a tiny bottle of Sprite and a bag of chips, and a dill pickle of some flavor they insist you have , plus tax and tip it was like $30!!! Someone posted a name of some tavern with a good fried bologna sandwich and it looked it up. Their on-line menu will get you one for I think $5.70. You decide. .

I make my own kimmelweck for beef of weck. Would it be a good idea or sacrilege to try fried bologna on weck? I know I haven’t had a fried bologna sandwich in a half century, but if the store were open I’d have one today.

Who on this board would you choose to make our draft picks?

There may be a new ashtray in it for you. Reconsidering? I’m on team GunnerBill with a handful of people in the next tier, then the tier who thinks they know their stuff, then people like me. I know I don’t know so I come here to learn about these guys. -
My wife is very careful with her diet and we always have fresh fruit in the house. Strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, watermelon, etc. I just keep going for the blueberries. I can’t help myself. I must say, there are some telltale signs that maybe you need to diversify your diet if you go overboard, if you know what I mean…. My wife paid someone to hold her accountable early in this weight control process. One surprise was they would make her stop and eat. She was working a crazy schedule with no time for the bathroom but she had to stop for a snack between meals. It kept her from getting too hungry, then pigging out on chips or something bad. That was interesting. She also has warm water with lemon every day. 🤷♂️ Good luck with the weight loss. Go pick up a 10-12lb bowling ball and know you’re already carrying around that much less.

I’d like to see that, but we’d need to look closer at the options. To be clear, my wife loves Easter, and she also loves the best sleep on earth that comes with the anesthesia for a colonoscopy. That does NOT make her a (complete) weirdo. .

When our son was young I came into the room to hear him screaming at my wife “I NEED A DOCTOR! WHAT KIND OF MOTHER ARE YOU???” He then proceeded to vomit every jelly bean from his basket all over her nightie. Some appeared to be un-chewed. Every day should be Mother’s Day. We love those warm Easter memories. 😂 Easter was THE Holiday of the year for my wife’s family. Bigger than Christmas. It was strange for me at first, but everybody is a little different and that’s ok.

I went into a bar yesterday for lunch and there was basketball on TV. It took me a while to realize it was the NBA. I didn’t ask them to change the channel because there were other TV’s to watch. NFL players try on every play of every single game, unlike the NBA. If you don’t try in the regular season, I don’t care about your playoffs.

You made me look it up! I’m guessing trebuchet is having a record number of searches today! 😂

Return of the Tre! (Tre White signs with the Bills)
Augie replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
He was very slow to come back fully from the ACL. He may just be the same way with the Achilles. I’m not expecting Prime Tre, but I bet he’s physically and mentally ready to be able to help. I like the move, and I like the guy. -
I don’t think we could toss him over the LOS.

Not to mention, your broken ashtray has to be better than anything I saw in those photos. It’s lacking, I’m just sayin’

A college buddy who I think was a cop, went to law school and is now a prosecutor replied to this ^^^ on a text thread with: ”Saved that one. I used to say, please step out of the car, and watch them fall on their face. Whoops, you just failed the Field Sobriety Test. Too bad, you seemed to have done a lot of cramming.” 😂

Where is Joanna Gaines when you need her??? 😂

As a Xavier grad, I agree it’s a gorgeous area. No comment on the rest. 😊 Good luck, I remember those college shopping days oh so well. It goes by fast! EDIT: That’s just about a perfect distance for you. Kids want (and need?) to get away a bit, but not too far. For me Cincinnati to Buffalo when the speed limits was 55 was less than ideal. .
