  1. I apologize for my immediate gut reaction when I read the title and thought you were proposing bringing back Beasley/McKenzie. It is the ROLE that I missed reading before my little mini-stroke. I should be fine, but I regret my evil thoughts. I’m good with more singles and doubles. It’s like we just keep trying to PROVE we really CAN hit the home run. Interesting point. Does he run fast but play a bit slower? Maybe, but I’ll be honest and say I’ve never watched him and thought he looked slow. But trust me, you don’t want me as your GM.
  2. Beane chose to address the guard position last offseason. I’m OK with building lines first. I keep hearing this is a deep WR draft, because we need a stud. We have a bunch of nice options, but we need a guy who scares everybody on every play. Diggs, for whatever reason, is not that guy right now. We seriously need to nail a WR draft pick this year!
  3. I remember watching a Rudolph game in his final year of college while sitting at a bar in Nashville. It was a nice afternoon. I was impressed and thought he would be a good (not great) NFL starter. Remember, I was sitting at a bar.
  4. I believe he is also responsible for the revised return policy on iPad’s.
  5. I caved and got Peacock hoping I’ll start getting Dan Patrick shows live on the actual day they air. The “free Peacock” had his shows delayed one business day. Whitehall is great, but I was just going to go to Padriac’s because it’s a mile from my house, so an easy Uber or walk. How was the Anchor Bar in Kennesaw? I’ve been twice just for lunch. I won’t be making a third trip unless I get some reports of better food than I have experienced. It was fairly new when I went so maybe I should cut them some slack, but quite disappointing. Wings were just ok, and the beef on weck did not seem very substantial. I can honestly do better at home. The Duffs that used to be in Newnan had great food, but they closed a few years ago. I’d make the 45 mile trip each way a couple times a year to get my fix.
  6. Do you have Directv streaming, or dish or both. I am left without NBC, like you, on DTV Streaming. I have not checked the dish to see if NBC is available there. Regardless, I believe it will be available on Peacock. What NBC is accomplishing is teaching me how to live life….without missing NBC programming.
  7. I think he said that if his dog could draft worth a damn he’d have won that game. But I can’t be positive.
  8. The devilish part of me chuckles at the idea of us going for the late FG and having it blocked and returned for the winning TD. Would that make people forget 13 seconds? Would it kill some of them off? 😋
  9. You beat me! 😂
  10. You were a fugly skank? It’s ok, we still like you.
  11. Apparently the Amber Alert worked, I keep seeing that Kincaid guy. I’m glad bad people didn’t take him. 😋
  12. Time runs out, whistle blows, no play. Never happened. Bummer, but now we can just eat more clock driving farther to score. 😋
  13. I have a partial tear. I can’t throw. Or, I could throw once, then collapse in pain.
  14. If the Pats* could, I bet they’d rather kick off than receive the kick. Their offense is our best chance to score points! 😂
  15. OK, who is with me hoping Kincaid has 14 catches for 180 yards and 3 TD’s today??? 😋
  16. He has the second most catches (62 catches on 76 targets) on a team tied for 5th in the NFL in scoring. I don’t need to invent things to be upset about. Every game cannot be your best game. I love what this guy offers, and look forward to seeing him continue to grow. Every situation is different, and I don’t care if LaPorta has 200 catches. That has nothing to do with us and how we use Kincaid.
  17. I have not done a recent booster, but I’m sure I’ve had it on multiple occasions. Our son is in FL with the wife's family for the holidays. She is one of six daughters, and most are married with kids. BIG family, and they ALL got it. I have not taken Paxlovid, but they said it was a huge difference maker.
  18. No, that was me. He came much later. But it doesn’t feel THAT much later. 😋
  19. Lamar and Josh must be HUGE advantages when it comes to grading an OL.
  20. I want to win it just to put it in the face of all the people who say if we can just win one SB before they die they will be satisfied for life. Somehow I think the whining will not cease as promised. 😋 Some people will be complaining if we win the SB but don’t cover the spread or be upset that Josh didn’t throw for 300 yards. “BUT……” they will say. 😂
  21. My son and his family went to FL to be with his wife’s enormous family. They all got the same thing for Christmas: COVID!
  22. As a little kid half the fun of going to the Rockpile in the winter was stuffing our boots with newspapers, getting bundled up in layers and taking that HOT bullion in for when you needed it. Yes, you could take a thermos in back then. I suppose it’s a better and safer idea than rolling in a pony keg! Hands and feet are critical, but hands are easier to protect. I never wore anything but sneakers all winter long, except when I was going to be sitting still at a Bills game in the cold for hours.
  23. Looks like temps in the 30’s with a 35% chance of precipitation. On top of staying warm, you’ll want to stay dry. Is there anything worse than 35 degrees and raining? If you don’t have proper foul weather gear, you can get ponchos that fold up smaller than a deck of cards for a couple bucks each anywhere, like the Target camping section. If you don’t need them, that’s great. You can use them for something else. I have to suggest at least checking out Hammers Lot, but you’ll have a blast anywhere. Enjoy the special experience with your boys! I took each of mine when they turned 16, and it was amazing!
  24. That’s when I met my wife. She kept asking “why do you do this to yourself?” I didn’t have a great answer, but I’m still doing it. 🤷‍♂️
