i legit dont understand this argument. we've added 2 OL where atleast one is an upgraded starter (both are likely better than saffold, so depth or maybe 2 starters). aside from that, i dont see DHop preventing us from signing an OL right now, or we wouldve done it by now. Any addition to the OL from here out willl come from the draft, and even if we were to swing a trade for him, its not going to be a pick that excludes us from drafting an OL at a premium pick. i understand the hurdles to clear in signing him, but i dont think it stops us from upgrading at OL

id sign him for the right price for one year only. hes a malcontent but very talented. his first year in CAR with Teddy B was very impressive, and he looked good on the Jets at times. i get this 100%. after rolling the dice on gabe stepping up last year, and it going awful, id rather make an effort to permaplug a problematic position. if brown wins out, we gotta killer swing. maybe he pushes dion into G. maybe he works his ass off to fight for a guard spot. I want that OL room ready to murder each other over a tight tight starter battle. OL play around the league sucks, if we end up with too many riches, you trade one. i want every player feeling 2nd string nipping at their heals. re-earn that starter position every damn week!!!

I think we should get a worse OL. Maybe trade our 1st and 2nd picks for a bunch of 7th rounders, draft a new OL there. Kromer likes athletic lineman, who could pull quicker than Bass at guard? Kickers play like 3 plays a game, time to earn that money

Really like the player and fit, just not a good 1st round use for us. If rbs slide in general rd2 is still high but if hes clear cut BPA maybeeee??? Reminds me of J Williams on Denver (UNC back few years ago, first name escapes me)

for some strange reason my last 3 gfs have all been pats fans. as annoying as it is, what i will say is they genuinely love football. with or without me those girls were watching 1p, 4p, SNF and MNF, maybe missing one slot of those a week. the other thing, and again this is just my experience, they know the game better than my more casual male friends. all 3 paid attention and watched the draft, it was really impressive, and would put a bunch of posters on here to shame lol that said. no banging on gamedays lol two of them were really good about being amicable watching pats/bills games. we had fun, talked some light hearted isht, and understood one of us is going to lose, so not crossing the line of a*hole about it. you'll noticed and said 3, then two..... one just COULD NOT help herself getting overworked up lol few games before Hamlins scare, youll remember he got thrown out of Pats game late for a hit in the endzone. "Hes a scumbag", there was no hearing the other side of it. damars been pretty cool in the community and i followed him at pitt, and have always thought highly of him. he can def bang with the pads, but never a dirty player. that was a bang bang play, and i wouldve been more upset if he made no intent to dislodge the ball. in no way did i see "targeting", he didnt use his own helmet. it was a nice attempt that i understand. receiver ducked down a ton right before contact, otherwise it woulda been a clean shoulder to the gut lol we most certainly did not bang after that play that night haha

I get it, he can be a bit try-hard and overly excitable at times, but thats part of his job too unfortunately. he seems a lot more chill when hes off the show and doesnt have to amp up his persona to a 10. the fact he has to do that speaks to the intelligence of viewers the network caters too more than it does on him IMO

Anyone know why this is a problem? All the big kids go to college and switch to DL because its easier to get playing time in a rotation, plus bigger contract potential?
