He gets wrote off by alot of people for that persona but he's very talented and was tough as nails. If the Saints were my team at this point I'd welcome the rebuild. Brees nor Rivers are more than a very short term stop gap. They played the heck outta - kick the can down the road, and have done it well. Time to bottom out, live a year in dead cap hell, and hopefully get some nice picks to re stock the cupboard.

well theres a reason these trades are rare.... coming in mid season in NFL isnt exactly like trading for a superstar in NBA/NHL, so if we dont pull the trigger thats a huge reason why, not cause Beane is timid thats for sure

I wish Gesecki was a possibility. In division trades do happen but I can't see MIA s front office doing it right now. Trading him would be bad enough PR, but making a team like us better would really be a nail in the coffin on their jobs. Gesecki n Knox would be a stud 1-2 lineup
