I know there are many people that have not watched the show in years who are under the false impression that it’s never funny any longer. Here are two skits from recent times that I think prove that the show still really hits the mark on occasion.

Getting ready to watch the SNL 50th Anniversary special and the wife asked me if I thought Josh would be asked to host now that he’s a league MVP? I thought it was a good question, so I will pose it to you. I think he would nail it like Peyton Manning did. I also think that having a Hollywood starlet for a fiancée ups his chances, considering how much SNL likes cameo appearances.

This got off-track pretty quickly.

When Covid hit many people developed a new appreciation for essential workers. It seems like much of that has been forgotten as we have put the virus in our rearview mirrors. It’s so nice to know that Josh understands and appreciates the essential workers at One Bills Drive.

RIP Coach. He was never my favorite coach, but you could always tell he was a top-notch human being.

I’m too hurt right now to get into the nuts and bolts of why another Bills season has come up short of the ultimate goal. I just want to send out some love to all of the fans of the Buffalo Bills. Especially those that regularly post here and who have become brothers and sisters-in-arms to me, if only through your screen names and avatars. Your posts and comments throughout the year bring me great joy and TBD and TSW are, by far, my most visited pages on the World Wide Web. I especially want to offer an air hug to any of you, like me, who have followed this team for decades and now say you want just “one before I die.” I truly thought this was our year of destiny.
