  1. From the Athletic: 13. Buffalo Bills (7-3; Last week: 14) Now that’s what a Bills team that fancies itself a playoff contender should look like against the Dolphins, riding Josh Allen’s best overall day of the season to a 37-20 win. But don’t take our word for it, let’s just make sure we read what offensive tackle Cody Ford said about Allen, because while I’m not sure I’m on board with all Ford’s gun metaphors, Ford clearly is passionate about his quarterback. “Josh is a dog. There’s a reason why he is who he is. Guys respect him. He’s a killer. He’s a silent assassin. He always says, ‘When we shoot we shoot.’ When we shoot, he shoots with us. And what are we going to do? We’re going to unload the clip. When he’s back there doing his thing, it’s like an energy and a spirit. You feel it. It gets on everybody. Everybody starts feeling it and we know it’s go time.”
  2. What, no love for this all-time classic?
  3. There is no apostrophe in Pats. There is an * however.
  4. Currently on vacation in Puerto Rico and came upon this beautiful basketball court near the fort in San Juan. It was donated post-Hurricane Maria by 'Cuse legend and local hero Carmelo Anthony. It is near one of the poorest sections of the city and it was meant to give kids something to do during the many months without electricity.
  5. Man, I just came upon this thread and read first that he had cancer, then that is was Stage 4 and finally, that he passed. RIP, my fellow Bills fan and love and good thoughts to your new bride.
  6. In an attempt to get this post back on track, our tour to the Rainforest was amazing. The people of Puerto Rico that we have met have all been gracious and kind. They are very appreciative of tourist dollars been spent in the areas still being rebuilt after the hurricane.
  7. We are here now. Went to old San Juan today. Beautiful. Too much to take in all in one day. Taking a rainforest tour tomorrow. Thanks for the suggestions. Keep them coming.
  8. Wife and I are headed out soon for a week at a luxury resort near San Juan. Has aanyone ever been? Any tips on what to see and do would be greatly appreciated. Aside from spending some quality time on the sandy beaches, we love tours and trips. Old San Juan is a must, but would love to visit any must-see attractions. Thanks in advance.
  9. Appreciate your thoughts as always Virgil. Two thoughts: Shaq and Lawson are one and the same, no? Secondly, I really wish Daboll would stop sending in the outdated Jumbo package on 3rd and one. It simply doesn’t work. Too many big bodies clogging up the running lanes. The move is to spread the field with four wideouts and run the QB sneak. All he needs to do is pay attention to what Brady does to us every time in that situation.
  10. Absolutely, it is. And he had 5 more in college. Considering how many games come down to 3 points or less, a guy who averages one FG block every 7 games should be a certainty on the active roster.
  11. According to IMDB, Bill Burr is only in one of the 8 episodes. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt8111088/fullcredits
  12. One way that you can upset that narrative is to completely dominate the Eagles and win by a decisive margin. here's hoping that's what happens on Sunday.
  13. Miller would be my guess. He started strong, but has struggled a bit lately.
  14. 364 A group of engineering students from Purdue University reported that its licking machine, modeled after a human tongue, took an average of 364 licks to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop. Twenty of the group's volunteers assumed the licking challenge-unassisted by machinery-and averaged 252 licks each to the center. 15. Order with a pseudonym and use a prepaid Visa card - just in case Josh gets wind of it. Plausible deniability.
  16. So you're going on record and saying it will happen by Sunday. Got it!
  17. "John Dorsey was fired as GM of the Chiefs in June 2017, six months after the team finished a 12-4 season and less than two months after he drafted Patrick Mahomes." Found this interesting factoid in an ESPN article about why current NFL GMs are trading way more than their counterparts of just 5 years ago did. Crazy to think that a guy could get canned after a season like that and then making a trade up and hitting on a true franchise QB. Just goes to show that it's a win-in-the-playoffs league and swinging for the fences by moving draft capital isn't the awful idea it was once considered to be. 19. Yes, he was. So was his longtime collaborator Bruce Wojick.
  20. Check this out, it's Niagara Falls Hall of Fame guitarist Jamie Holka doing a great acoustic take on "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band."
  21. 97. He had a great run. http://www.msn.com/en-us/tv/news/bill-macy-bea-arthurs-husband-on-maude-dies-at-97/ar-AAIZ870?ocid=ientp
  22. It's amazing to think about, when you watch the video of the Kelly parade when he finally came to Buffalo, that Kent was there in a utility van following behind unknown to everyone there and watching on TV. We ended up getting two all-time greats that day. RIP, Mr. Hull
