The Nagy Rule is interesting.
I am surprised the Pats* didn’t do this first.
Actually they probably did but since Brady only ever got hurt once it was probably the same year they didn’t have an intern 3rd stringer.
I was going to agree. But, changed my mind. If we made this trade we could pick a QB at 21. We probably miss Rosen and Darnold 1 & 2. IF we don’t grade a 3rd really high...this trade may be ok.
Get our starting or bridge QB in Dalton. QB at 21. Then a first, two seconds and a third to add starters.
PS. I don’t think Cincy is trading Dalton and not for Cordy. But, you never know.
Agreed. I hope he stays healthy AND the coaches have an open mind on Cordy. If both those things happen (big IF) then we have a great T. Fingers crossed, if this happens we get a lot better, a lot quicker.
Go Bills!
Depends on how you are grading. But, I think I would prefer those QBs than Tyrod.
If you take Shady's ability and gains vs other RBs AND look at the plays/yards/points TT leaves on the field. I think I would prefer almost anyone within reason. I think that within reason line is right about there with Kizer and Siemian. So, maybe I would have TT 25-35th then?
I would be fine with it. But, he will be QB4 instead of QB3. I would assume we draft a QB, sign or trade for a vet and Peterman. So, 3 QBs next year.
But, I think there is value to Webb and his flexibility and versatility.
A big huge DT will help everyone do their jobs.
And, if we could have a DE rotation of Lawson, Hughes plus someone else who get cab to the QB we will be in good shape. A drastic improvement will have been made.
Hate the Pattsies......it sounds like more of a pet name and term of endearment.
I respect and love that!!
I am confident that is how I will feel about the Pats* till the day I die.
If Mahomes is the next Gabbert............I will feel half good about the trade. The other half good would be if Watson doesn't pan out.
However, I can feel good about the trade regardless for the fact the staff (not being complete at the time) didn't do the research and grading on the draft. I could appreciate they may not have trusted the previous regimes grading to make it their one big swing at a QB.
I thought Glenn was really good in pass protection with Chan Gailey. It was Chan’s last year and Glenn’s first.
Glenn was really good in pass protection as a rookie LT.
