  1. Totally agree. Allowing your people to interview for promotions is a good culture to have internally AND plays nicely in the sandbox with other teams. I think Green Bay is the only team that takes a hard line in the sand on not allowing most interviews.
  2. I disagree. Landry is just a slot WR. Sammy is a complete WR. I think Sammy gets paid more than Landry per year.
  3. That's so true. The officiating is making the game unwatchable. Seriously, unwatchable. I only watch Bills games and then the odd one here or there. Go Bills! All well said!
  4. Good to know. I didn’t. Is Clayborn still a good combo of speed, strength and size? Thusly versatile on downs?
  5. Agreed! 3 starters to the D in free agency would be great! Totally frees up the draft board and taking bargain bin flyer free agents.
  6. I think there are some solid options on this list. Many options that aren't going to break the bank, but, be great value signings and hopefully impact players (such as Hyde and Poyer). If we could fill just a couple of holes with good contributors in free agency that would go along way. Here is what I thought of the list on who may be good matches with the Bills (age in parenthesis).... Resigning EJGaines (25) Kyle Williams (34) - one year deal Travis Cadet (28) Deonte Thompson (28) DT Star Lotulelei (28) Carolina - let's get him signed! Haloti Ngata (33) Detroit - stop gap for a year if we miss on Star WR John Brown (27) Arizona - one year prove it deal Terelle Pryor (28) Washington - one year prove it deal OLB Nigel Bradham (28) Philadelphia Tahir Whitehead (27) Detroit - don't know much about him, anyone? DE Ezekiel Ansah (28) Detroit - might more than a value signing, maybe too expensive Adrian Clayborn (29) Atlanta CB Rashaan Melvin (28) Indy - if he is a complete CB and tackles, seems to be Kyle Fuller (25) Chicago - if he is a complete CB and tackles, seems to be
  7. He's intriguing. But, to think he can learn to be an NFL OC and teach essentially two rookies how to be NFL QBs is asking a bit much. You would need a heck of a vet QB and great QB coach. Don't think it is happening though. But, intriguing.
  8. Yes, there are some coaches in Major Colleges that would/could make amazing OCs. IMO there is a learning curve there for a lot of coaches in College to the NFL (without some exceptions) and HCs don't value the risk vs reward against a sort of known commodity. If a HC has more leash on his HC tenure OR they are just focussed on doing there best and not worried about there job they would entertain more of the high risk, high reward potential OCs. It is just more rare. That's just some of the moving parts.
  9. Disagree
  10. AMEN! Totally agree! If you think the coach will learn from it or can that’s another thing. It’s unable, unwilling, unemployed. IMO Dennison was unable and unwilling, thusly, unemployed!
  11. I agree with taking a QB with our first pick if there is one worth taking at that point. I think there will be. I agree with the red writing above. I only really disagree with #9. The great debate on speed vs big or both WR. I think a lot of WRs can do all of it. But, I am not sold that we don't have 4 good WRs if we have a real QB and real OC and we will! I don't think we need to force WR it can come to us as we have 4 capable WRs maybe 5.
  12. Talked about it with my very long time best Bills fan the other day and the answer was.... not even close! Couldn't even come close to do that again.
  13. Wikipedia says.... In 2004 and 2005 Clements served as offensive coordinator for the Buffalo Bills, but was released by the team after a front-office shakeup in which Marv Levy, his coach with the Chiefs in 1980, assumed the position of general manager and ultimately installed Dick Jauron as the team’s new head coach.
  14. That's an extremely valid point.
  15. Fired up!! You are right on your post! I am trusting the process. As long as McD sticks with the process (doesn't get to big on his ego) we will keep going in the right direction. To answer your question, "last time it was this good"..........last Century. Go Bills! GREAT things are happening!
  16. I don't think we will sign Sammy. I just think he is top 2 or 3 on the list available. Never said we would sign him or he would want to sign here.
  17. I can see the argument on Allen Robinson. I just don't count Landry since he is a slot receiver and they have less flexibility. The NFL teams seem to feel this way too as slot receivers get paid less than top tier WRs. JMO.
  18. They probably brought Culley as the QB coach because the spot was available and they want to bring him on board. Maybe the plan was to trudge along on offense last year with Dennison and TT and they thought they would reload this offseason and get a new OC and QB and move Culley somewhere. When we draft our QB we will get the best OC & QB coach for the young fella!
  19. Dunkirk Don is Chadwick Bay Chad? Chadwick Bay Chad is Dunkirk Don?
  20. Agreed!
  21. Christmas just never stops around here!! It's been going on for 4 weeks now! Juan Castillo next please............... EDIT : If Juan Castillo goes I will continue to trust the process more
