  1. Was about to say the same. As a Bills fan I'm never going to assume a win. This is their home opener and they are underdogs. These are the games the Bills need to win though to make the playoffs.
  2. Hey Matt has 10 1/4 inch hands. Who do you think he is? The small hands guy that used to be in the burger king commercials?
  3. I feel like this is the one preseason game I'd be ok with it. Edit, didn't answer first part. Yes they should've gone for 2. Can't think of a reason they didnt.
  4. Yup has Pat's written all over it. Trade for player that will leave for a big contract after the season and get the compensatory draft pick.
  5. Show up and play and prove to other teams you're worth trading for. Too much money to just leave on the table.
  6. The Allen pick wasn't good but I think his numbers look much better if Beasley doesn't fumble the ball. Allen only had six throws and one thing that has become clear to me is that he gets better as the game progresses. Without the fumble I bet he would've had a decent drive. McCoy looks like his old self which is awesome and I'm glad Gore came back in after the hit because it looked bad at first. Duke just makes plays and they need to get him on the team.
  7. It really is getting old
  8. Which is why Allen needs these preseason reps
  9. With his patient running style and their horrible offensive line I just dont see him doing much aside from being a productive receiver. I think he'll have his worst year as a runner.
  10. I just want the correct calls and in a timely fashion. My issue is with how long it takes. You can usually see in the first replay what happened. The announcers can tell us before the replay half the time. Why does it take so long for the refs to talk it out, announce to the fans, and then place the ball. I feel like this is the area that needs a significant improvement.
  11. So what do you think? They are going to risk putting him in a meaningless preseason game?
  12. I think it's just a matter of keeping him healthy until the season starts. He might've been showing some minor symptoms and they decided to shut him down until game 1. I have zero doubt he starts against the Jets.
  13. Hook em. Probably won't make final roster but I love when they sign Longhorns.
  14. My favorite of his is the catch against New England where he was tackled at the half yard line. Great play and victory.
  15. Yes, thankfully he only elbowed somebody to the back of their neck once in his career. The sport is violent enough without the added assault. This has nothing to do with me being a Bills fan and him a Patriot. I actually was a fan before. It has to do with what he did and then him not even really apologizing for it. He shrugged it off like it was just part of the game even with the suspension. I just can't believe someone can see what he did and say, "hey it's football".
  16. He jumped into a defenseless person laying on the ground with a metal brace with the intent to cause harm. I can't believe someone can blow it off this way. There's no defense for behaving the way he did. He could've hurt Tre far more than he did and didn't even show remorse for it. Lost all respect for him after his "apology".
  17. Are you thinking of Cyrus K. Drafted him as a rt but had a knee issue and played much better on the left.
  18. I already did. Her reply, "who cares".
  19. Watched this about a week ago and came away very impressed. Especially with his run blocking.
  20. So sad to hear. Wish his family the absolute best during this tough time. RIP Pancho.
  21. McClappy? Cmon now. This place can do better.
  22. I thinks its because when you look at Allen's numbers they are kind of what a lot of ppl expected when he came out. Low comp% and td to int ratio. They just see that and think their opinions were justified. If they actually watched him play they'd be saying different things and this is exemplified by what Mel Kiper said the other day when asked about which Afc east Qb they'd be talking about in 5 years. He said Allen over Darnold and even gave examples. You can tell which of these "experts" have actually watched him play.
  23. Same thing every year unfortunately. Bills have been a middle of the pack team for too long. Until they make some consistent improvement this is what we're gonna keep seeing. They're going to turn some heads this year as they go 9-7. Next year will be the coming out party. IMO
  24. I'll wait and see what Dr House has to say about his shoulder
