  1. I don't believe the 65% is against the spread.
  2. Good Post. You and I both know that the Pegulas are not using this as any evidence to fire the guy. And, rightfully so! If he is fired, it will be after they have gone through a process, one knows everything going on behind the scenes. Not because of some garbage metric contrived to further the narrative.
  3. You are entitled to you opinion. Mine remains unchanged. Never heard that definition of an agenda before. IMHO. Have a nice day.
  4. I don't read his column very often. But, the way the research is done, which is something I know a little bit about, is completely biased. Don't know him, don't care too, if someone who worked for me, executed research the way he did in the article, I'd be less than thrilled. He was working like a prosecutor with an agenda. I guess if you think that is his job, you're entitled to your opinion. If I'm on the jury, I disregard the evidence he is presenting.
  5. http://www.buffalorumblings.com/2016/12/20/14023652/bills-doug-whaley-another-way-to-assess-the-roster-building-of-buffalo-bills-rex-ryan Not that I agree with this 100%. But, TG is so damned biased it never hurts to have a different take.
  6. Now that's something I could get behind!
  7. Yeah 2012 was a long time ago to win a Super Bowl.
  8. Thanks for posting this! I think a dose of Coughlin's discipline would certainly help. We still take dumb penalties, have people running on the field late, and people making the same mistakes over and over. I have a feeling he may want Jacksonville though, doesn't he live there? And, I wonder if Anthony Lynn would be retained.
  9. I stopped reading guys like Sullivan a long time ago, and I refuse to read this article. I'm sure I can figure what it says out anyway. It doesn't take much of an imagination to picture Sully, Vic, Sal, Graham etc. just sitting around and engaging in group think. This is similar to the media for politics we see on CNN,Fox, MSNBC etc. The level of bias reached in these sessions causes detachment from reality. It is not like everything they say is false, but rather they do not research and report objectively. And, as we just saw in the election, people have started to figure it out.
  10. Something else, it's not that hard, they do it all the time. Give them nothing to work with.
  11. You gain nothing by talking to the media. If you have a problem then deal with it in house, not all that difficult. Nothing gained by making these comments.
  12. I think to ignore the Injuries at the receiver/TE position is a mistake. Watkins in particular would impact the offense when healthy! I'm also not sure that Ragland hasn't been missed. Our interior Linebackers have been killed in certain games, especially Preston Brown.
  13. Couldn't resist John! You're - not your. My wife, who's an English teacher, does it to me all the time!
  14. This cannot be understated! I grew up with the championship teams as well. I always have that to fall back on. Lets face it, a lot of the guys on here missed that era, and they feel jealous and entitled to a super bowl contender. Likely very true, unless you believe that the subsection of Bills fans on this site represent the vast majority of Bills fans. I don't. Most fans can go on with their lives and put things in perspective I'd like to believe. Curmudgeon Sully is the hero to some of this board!
  15. Nail on the head with this one as usual! I agree with a lot of your posts.
  16. In a nutshell this is as simple an analysis as I've seen. Not anymore complicated!
  17. Boy are you correct! My son and I were just talking about the same thing at lunch. I am sick and tired of watching him in coverage. Not to mentions our defense is terrible against the run and scrambling QBs.
  18. Bottom line: to play in Wrecks defense you need to be Harvard/Cambridge educated finishing summa cum laude. A wonderlic of 35 or better is a minimum requirement
  19. The article is being given too much credit for being some wonderful, insightful research article. Bias is rampant throughout the whole thing. Graham started out with a premise (not unlike a prosecutor), and then set out to support his case that Whaley was guilty. I am not convinced he or anyone else at OBD needs to stay or go at his point. I would not however use Tim Graham's research to make a decision.
  20. Well said! The losers mentality is pathetic.
  21. I think Sully, Carucci, Bucky .......are definetly pushing an agenda. It is pathetic to make such a big deal about "I would take the Browns franchise over the Bills right now". These guys have gone above and beyond trying to sell papers.
