  1. Sealed his fate on the first TD! Cut
  2. Care to bet something significant with that prediction? Get some real skin in the game before making this kind of prediction!
  3. Where does the guy they just traded for McCray fit in? Or, did we just give up a draft pick for nothing.
  4. Agreed. Only time I watch ESPN now is if a sporting event, or a 30-30 is on. The rest is basically garbage.
  5. No way Lavar Edwards gets cut now. Staff loves him Agreed, makes me wonder whether he makes the final roster.
  6. I agree with you on this. Hopefully this is a wake up call and he gets his act together.
  7. My feelings from the time he reported overweight: "This is bad news for a 5th round RB, in his second year. He played great last year, but he was hurt alot. And, the Bills have the potential to be pretty deep at RB. I'm not positive he makes the team if he doesn't get his act together pronto." June 14 BTW, I was chastised for daring to say this. My point is this guy is too undisciplined as an individual for anything less than the highest forms of motivation to work. He came ready to play last year and things came together for him. He was motivated to make the team and get paid. Unfortunately, he couldn't maintain the level of motivation and discipline needed to continue. I'm not optimistic for this guy. But, I hope he gets his act together.
  8. I don't see Annen making this team ahead of Dray. Other than that full agreement. Glad to see Gay gone.
  9. I'm still waiting for a DB to come into the shower and knock the ball the loose.
  10. There is something to be said for a high level of motivation. The "next man up" and "fighting for a spot" mentality can carry a team. I'm hopeful that we make it through the early schedule, and then pick it up when guys return. What's the old saying? If it doesn't kill you it makes you stronger!

  12. Looks another dummy to block on this board eh!
  13. I would rather be a little out of synch for 1 game, and play a team a little out of synch in game one. I realize this requires elimination of the preseason games. As a matter of fact, I don't believe playing your guys during the FOUR preseason games and risking injury is worth it to be so-called in synch week 1. As a compromise, playing your starters in week 3 preseason for at most half a game is plenty. The notion that they are football players, football players get hurt is silly. One of the key factors in the success of a team each year is avoiding and managing injuries. The more you play, the more likely you are to get hurt. So when you play make it count. JMO
  14. Totally agree with your point. We lose a Watkins or a Taylor in a preseason game and we are totally screwed. College players have no preseason games other than a sometimes opener against East Bum F...k State. If he must, Rex should wait until the last preseason game to play Watkins. Remember what happened with Dez Bryant-Rex?
  15. Anyone else worried with the way things are going that a surprise Bills player shows up down the road and is suspeded?
  16. If Tyrod gets hurt for any length of time then we are royally screwed!
  17. I'm known for being an optimist on the Bills. And, none of it means we will be 0-6. However, only one word I can come up with now! CIRCUS!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. I'll give you some reasons to be optimistic. Three bell cows on offense in McCoy, Watkins and Clay. Bush, and Goodwin are nice gadget guys, who can produce big plays when the other 3 are the focus. A happy, hungry, second year Tyrod back at QB with a healthy Robert Woods! The All Pro left side of the OL. A very fine secondary, especially the corners, 2 pro bowl defensive lineman, a second year coaching staff that has coach's who've won before. All it takes a few breaks with health during the season, and a couple good refs calls, and it is not unreasonable to see this squad as a playoff team. Of course this is the optimistic view, probably more likely than the doom and gloom pessimism of 2-14 from some. Why do you watch sports without enjoyment and optimism?
  19. I've gotten so cynical about these things I hate myself. But, the timing of this release to Schefter is suspicious.......Bad news with Ragland followed shortly after with a release of Shaq news. Smells of PR to me because nothing has changed. Still 6-8 weeks, still a rookie, Rex's complex D and we can always change it later to 10-12 weeks.
  20. Meanwhile, Edelman is back at practice today.
  21. My prediction: you will be wrong and Whaley will not be fired!
  22. What's the old college saying ' you improve the most between your first and second games'.
  23. Amazing how college teams don't need preseason games and can start in mid-August and play by September 1.
