Hopkins is everything Benjamin is not. White was OK there, but what are you gonna do?

Alright everyone.... Gonna ride with Shady. Had him in my lineup since last night and I would hate to regret taking him out, especially since he's our guy. In the end, it may not matter much. I expect both guys have a chance to put up similar results. LET'S GO BILLS!!!!

I have had Shady in there since yesterday, but as much as I hate to say it, the more I think about this game today, I'm wondering how the Bills are even going to move the ball, let alone score. I just wish our offense could show any signs of life to give me more confidence.

Hey guys.... Wrong forum, I know and I hate asking these kinds of questions, but with my schedule the way it is today, I need a quick answer. Mods can delete this quickly if they want to. Or, maybe this topic can be used by others that need quick advice as well. Should I play a really banged up Peterson who won't have Thompson taking touches away from him or a healthy Shady who doesn't get the ball enough on a bad offense? This is one of the reasons I want him to play the entire season. I want him to get every possible look he can at what defenses are going to do to him in the NFL. Then, after the season is over, I want him to take every piece of video, every note, and every single detail he can and study them constantly so going into next season he has every counter to the looks he sees this year. Whether it's another summer with Jordan Palmer, or someone else than can help him through these looks, I want him to have a complete understanding of where he needs to go with the ball next season. I know virtual reality in the NFL is in it's infancy, but QBs in the league are using it to get real looks at defenses at full speed. If the Bills are one of the teams that utilize it, I want him to take advantage of it. If we're not a team that uses it yet, I am not sure why we aren't. It could be a very valuable teaching tool, especially for QBs. Yes, it is ambitious for sure, but if Allen wants to be a good QB in this league, he will need to put in the work, especially in the film room. This will help him process what he is seeing faster next season so some of the throws he is late on, or the reads he is not getting through this season, are second nature to him next season.

Is it Allen leading us to the Playoffs or do we only squeak in because they decide to pull Allen in week 8 or 9 and play Anderson the rest of the season? That may make a difference. If you tell me Allen plays all season and we make the Playoffs, then this questions doesn't even need to be asked.

Eagles are desperate. I want a 2nd. I think a 3rd might be fair, but I am not sure a 3rd is worth it to get rid of our best offensive player. If we had more talent, I would do it for a 3rd, but since we don't, I am not sure I would. So, since they are desperate for a good RB, I ask for a 2 and I send them Shady and a 5th or 6th rounder to get that 2nd.

Not sure he is the best, but he is definitely a top corner in the league and I'm glad he's on our team. We just need another one on the opposite side of him.....

He was good today. Definitely upgraded our rotation in the middle......

Look, I know he isn't a great WR, but you can't tell me that Brandon Reilly couldn't be more productive than the crap we have out there right now.

Wanted us to take him..... Kind of understood the trade down, especially since there wasn't a GM in place and the hype about this year's QB class, but everything I watched of Mahomes in college said the kid had just as much of a chance to succeed as anyone else. Was hoping we would take the shot, but it just didn't happen. And of course, as soon as the Bills passed on him, he was guaranteed to be a superstar because.......... well, that's just the way it goes. That said, if Mahomes was playing here in our offense, he wouldn't be doing what he is doing. He has the best weapons in the NFL around him with one of the best offensive minds of all time. We have the worst set of skilled position talent, on top of a brutal o-line, perhaps in the history of the NFL. It's way to early to make a blanket statement about Mahomes and Allen. I am not sure how long we will have to wait to do so, but to say Allen won't be good at this point is crazy. But it's up to McBean to put some real talent around him and in front of him in order t find out what Allen is. And this is coming from someone that wasn't the biggest Allen fan in college. I just think it is unfair at this point for anyone to write anything in stone positively or negatively about either guy.

Still don't..... But after hearing that commercial 10,000 times, I have no desire to find out.

I love that the Bills want to run a vertical offense. That is fantastic news. The problem is, they don't have 1 player on offense, besides the QB, equipped to run that kind of offense right now. We have no WRs and an O-Line that can't block anything. That is a recipe for disaster for a vertical scheme. I am all for getting a vertical offense in place here. But, get some players that can run that style of offense first. Right now, everything should be short and quick hitting with the occasional deep shot. I haven't seen more than 1 or 2 quick passes all day. Just a terrible offensive plan this week.

Yeah.... I am expecting things like this to pop up all over. Anything professional sports can do to make things easier for fans to spend money.....

Yup......he was my QB1 in this draft as well. It's too early to tell which QBs in this class will be great, but we just need our guy to be one of them. We didn't have a chance to draft Mayfield. One thing is for sure, though....we need to get Allen some help in order for him to have a chance.

Man.....Allen was ripped apart this week for what I would consider an OK first start. This week alone, I saw Darnold talked about like the 2nd coming and compared to Aaron Rodgers. All along, we have been told by the national media that we were stupid for getting rid of Taylor because he was a good veteran QB and that he would finally get his vindication because of all the good talent in Cleveland. How's that going so far? I'm not ragging on Darnold or anyone else, but I hope everyone is watching this game tonight and realizes that Allen is doing just as much as these other guys, with far less talent around him, to this point. Allen has a LONG way to go, but he doesn't deserve to be talked about being the ugly step-child and as so much less than these other rookie QBs. He is right there with them and, hopefully, shows good progress each week whether we're winning or not.

I'd love to see this just for the reactions......
