  1. The team has taken on the personality of their coach. They all sound like him during their media interviews before and after games. They tighten up just like their coach. I hate watching Allen do almost everything right and we lose like that. McD finds a new way to lose time after time. Terrible clock management, terrible usage of timeouts, terrible defensive playcalls in the 2nd half. A complete defensive collapse by our HC/DC. His game management is truly terrible. He needs to go.
  2. One more game or one more season? They have 5 more games. Fans are on edge as it is. They were booing at the Broncos game. I don't recall fans booing before with McD as coach. I get that fans boo but I think fans are starting to turn on McD.
  3. If Pegula fires McD, I believe he'll keep Beane who would lead the search for a new HC. I don't think Beane gets fired. Jmo
  4. Cook dropped a td pass. Sherfield broke outside instead of inside for a TD. Davis - I'm not sure what that was. Bass had a FG blocked and missed another. Plenty of mistakes all around.
  5. That game was a microcosm of the entire season.
  6. It's only one game but what I did like about the play calling is: - Brady got the RBs involved in the passing game. Those are pretty easy throws for Allen. - Allen had a few runs which helped keep the defense off balance. - Allen did a good job of protecting the ball. He had the pick right before half but no harm.
  7. Hey Yolo - welcome back! My bad if I missed you posting recently.
  8. True. Most fans love Allen. It seems more fans are just tolerating McD.
  9. McDermott has messed with Allen's head. He's done more to neutralize one of the best offenses in the league than any other DC. Allen needs to run with the ball. Not necessarily designed QB runs but let him roll out and if doesn't like what he sees then let him run. Yeah nobody wants him to get hit/hurt and that's where McD needs to emphasize to slide or run out of bounds. If Allen runs more, it will open up the offense. Opposing defenses aren't concerned about Allen running anymore. McD did the typical thing of overcorrecting an issue and has made things worse. Now Allen is thinking too much and the Bills offense is sputtering. Can't wait until the off-season where McGenius says we need to score more points.
  10. Allen needs to run just enough to make the defense think it's a possibility and get them to hesitate just enough in their coverages. It makes a big difference.
  11. I want Allen to make better decisions with the ball. Interceptions are going to happen but he seems to be forcing the ball at times. Throwing into double coverage too often.
  12. I'm pulling for Brady. He's in a tough spot though. Hopefully he calls a good game and no one is blaming him for bad play calling.
  13. Yes, there's all kinds of massive room for improvement. We're losing to bad teams and we haven't played a complete 60 minute game in quite some time. I believe the Bills have a serious problem on their hands. They have 7 games to straighten things out or others will be joining Dorsey imo.
  14. Sal is good for telling facts. Guy X did not practice today. Guy Z won't play today. That's about it. Unless you want a homer take.
  15. I would add that Daboll held Allen accountable. As fans, we saw it on the sidelines at times. I think McD doesn't want Allen to run out of fear of injury. I get it to some degree but Allen needs to run some in order to give the defense something else to defend. Bills offense is too vanilla right now.
  16. The Bills in general have not run the ball effectively in quite some time. They don't want Allen to run the ball. I get that concern but they didn't replace that aspect of the offense at all. So they signed a 33 yr old back and Harris who has an injury history and is on IR now. They removed a large part of Allen's game and he's struggling to adjust to it.
  17. Personally, I thought Dorsey was going to be fired after the season because in season firings rarely accomplish much imo. In firing Dorsey, McD is admitting to a mistake he made and he has now corrected it. We agree on McD needing to fire Smiley which is another mistake by McD. McD has made very questionable if not bad hiring decisions. As many have pointed out, McD has made several questionable decisions on game day. Now he has added a new wrinkle of benching Cook for an extended time after he fumbled. I get benching him for a few plays or the rest of that possession. I think it was excessive and hurt the offense. McD doesn't hold himself accountable and he has lost and/or is losing the locker room for it. McD never owned 13 seconds. All he had to do is say "I ***** up." But he never did. McD is feeling the heat. High expectations for this team and they look bad.
  18. There's more than one issue going on with the Bills. Firing Dorsey only solves some of it. Special Teams looks pretty bad too. Not just the last game either. McD fired the previous ST coordinator after 13 seconds and promoted Smiley to that position. McD deflecting blame. McD promoted Dorsey, a guy with no OC experience, and then fired him 1.5 seasons later. Not good for McD any way you look at it.
  19. I'd do an outside hire for OC. A guy with previous NFL experience as an OC. As far as DC, I'd probably hire within. I believe defensive woes comes down to too many injuries and not enough quality depth.
  20. I was thinking OT too. Both Dawkins and Brown will be free agents after 2024 season. I don't believe Bills will re-sign both and will want to upgrade one of them.
  21. Kincaid is a very strong addition to the offense. Hopefully Beane will a draft a WR early this upcoming draft.
