  1. Yes truly scary! Imagine 16 games of that next year. Freaking yikes!
  2. Great post! And true. This offense becomes and instant dumpster fire without Tyrod. I can't imagine a rookie coming in and performing well in this offense at all. He will get killed. Tyrod forces defenses to respect his escape ability and his big play threat with his legs. That threat makes this offense able to perform much better. If Tyrod has his top receivers healthy all year and the offensive coordinator had the guts to push the gas pedal harder, this offense would have been truly elite and put up a lot more points than it already did. In my opinion.
  3. The guy in the article uses 4 games. But even if you look at just the last one, you don't think it shows progress?
  4. It is a big gamble no matter who ends up being head coach. I think Whaley will recommend whoever he thinks will get the Bills to the playoffs the fastest that also doesn't demand Whaley relinquish much control. My opinion is that it ends up being Lynn at head coach or some other coach who wants to try to win with Tyrod. I say that because, if they move on from Tyrod and go with a rookie, Whaley is smart enough to know that is going to very likely take more than one year (probably several years) to get to the playoffs with. And missing the playoffs 2 more years in a row will get Whaley fired. The most likely scenario I see happening is the Bills signing the most experienced coach they can find who convinces them he can build a winning team using the existing core offensive and defensive personnel already here. That best guy to convince them of that might end up being Lynn.
  5. Yep. And once you make it to the playoffs, even as a wildcard, the most you need is a 3 game winning streak and you're in the big game.
  6. So that game didn't show progress? Yeah, I get it about the one game thing. But that game doesn't show progress?
  7. https://mattwaldmanrsp.com/2016/12/30/kyle-posey-debunking-the-tyrod-taylor-myth/ You be the judge.
  8. Elway's offense when he was QB was simplified. Jim Kelly's offense was dumbed down too. They simplified it and it started kicking ass because it was much easier for everyone to be on the same page and just outplay their opponent. I think they ought to simplify Roman's offense even more. Dummy QB my ass. I used to think you were reasonable.
  9. Ding ding. ding. Winner! I wish more people would pay attention to this. Just look at number of pass attempts compared to the league and it is plain as day. And then look at number of rushing attempts. And then look at those stats over the entirety of Roman's offensive schemes. Plain as freaking day. good post
  10. I don't get what is not classy about Tyrod? He politely declines (and yes the report even said politely) to talk to reporters after he is benched because of a business decision by the front office. Nothing he says in a interview can do anybody any good whatsoever. All it could possibly do is get people pissed off and ruin relationships. 100% risk 0% reward. So he politely declines. And yet people want to try to turn it into something it is not. Love it.
  11. Funny thing about Dareus is that he creates all his own bad press. If the guy was more mature and had better personal character, he would be among the most respected Bills players on this team "like a Kyle Williams" kind of guy. Dude is like a spoiled rich kid who is just going to do whatever he wants to do because he lacks that personal character. Everybody knows the guy is a good player on the field with the potential to be among the greatest. The thing stopping him from being the "greatest" is himself. And that is why Bills fans crap on the guy. And rightfully so.
  12. Even if the tall pocket passer isn't as good as the other guy at playing QB and helping the offense score points? Doesn't make sense to me. But I think there are a lot of people who would agree with your decision.
  13. I have no problem with the NFL having/starting a separate developmental league if that is what they want to do. Not a bad idea. I just don't want to force any changes on colleges. Let colleges do what they do and let the NFL start a separate league if they want. I'm down with that. And let the NFL fund the developmental league however they want. sounds good to me.
  14. 10- Bills 9 - Jets It is a game without touchdowns at first. Jets are up 9 - 3 late in fourth quarter when Fitz throws a pick 6 and Bills win. But I hope you are right instead Yolo.
  15. If Lynch was that good, wouldn't he already be starting instead of Siemian? And if Lynch isn't already an obvious choice over that guy, why would you want to make him the starter here?
  16. It's called a free enterprise system. The colleges decide how much the coach is worth to the college. If tuition costs get out of control, then students can choose alternate sources to get their education. It is a decision the student and his/her parents get to make and it is of their own free will. System ain't broken. Don't try to fix something that isn't broken.
  17. If Coughlin is a serious and primary candidate for head coach in Buffalo, what would he do about the QB? Would he want them to pick up the option on Tyrod and bet on him succeeding over the next 3 years or what else would he do if not that? If they hired Coughlin and he wanted them to pick up the option on Tyrod, I, as a fan, would be extremely optimistic about the immediate future of this team.
  18. Yeah man If you kept following the thread, I posted the 17 year math later on. And we got the same answers. Cheers bro.
  19. Accountable would mean expecting to be punished harshly for: - jeopardizing your career and team with off field antics/behavior - lack of professionalism - not preparing for the opponent you are about to face - laziness on the field (not giving your best effort) - repeatedly not having your head in the game - repeatedly performing way below your expected level of play in multiple games probably some other things, but that is a good start.
  20. I doubt you are going to get much in a trade for Kujo simply because he hasn't had enough starting time at left tackle. And he is dirt cheap for the Bills. Contract is up after next year. I think the guy is so cheap that he is worth keeping just as a backup to Glenn even if the Bills aren't going to start Kujo anywhere on the line. If we didn't have Kujo this year and Glenn had gone down with his back issues, we would have been in a heap of trouble. Suppose next year the Bills are rocking and rolling and Glenn goes down. We have a cheap insurance policy. Left tackle, being the most important guy for pass protection, is important to have a solid backup for. It can severely downgrade your passing attack if you don't have a good one. And the Bills need all the help they can get in that category.
  21. And he would have to shave that stash and go with a more Amish like facial hair style.
  22. I effin Hate Jeff Fisher! But I would get over my hatred by mid season if he managed to turn this crew into a really good defense again. If he sucked, I would throw snowballs at him from the stands.
  23. Would Kyle Shanahan want a QB like Tyrod? Would he want to stake his coaching career in Buffalo on Tyrod succeeding here? Because that is what he would be doing. If they opt in on Tyrod - Tyrod is here for 3 years before they will realistically be able to afford to trade or cut him. If they hire Lynn as Head Coach then I expect they will promote someone else from the offensive staff to offensive coordinator. Not sure who they would get for DC. But I bet that neither the OC or DC will be "big names" if they stick with Lynn. And that is what I think they are most likely to do. I would rather see a couple really experienced proven successful coordinators here no matter who the head coach is. Don't know how you get that with Lynn.
  24. Yes. The Buffalo Bills are like a box of chocolates - You never know what you are going to get. Taking bets on what type of team shows up next year. Anybody's guess.
