  1. It does matter who the coach is. And I am sure Whaley wants to keep his options open and wait to hear what his potential coaches have to say about who they want to be QB or at least what type of QB they want. To Whaley, finding a good coach is more important than marrying yourself to Tyrod. I think that is a perfectly reasonable train of thought and I am a Tyrod fan. I think people are reading way too much into the "Whaley likes EJ and might not really like Tyrod thing". Whaley isn't stupid. He watches the games too. If you were to be out for a beer with Whaley and asked him who the better QB is, I have no doubt whatsoever in my mind he would tell you Tyrod.
  2. For $75K you can own an entire street on the East Side. Your lifespan might get shortened. But you would have your own kingdom for a while.
  3. Philly doesn't have half the talent we do. (You just said that.) But somehow you are suggesting we emulate them? So that way you have a QB but still suck? They are worse than the Bills. If we played them we would probably kill them. But they are an example of a good organization?
  4. I thought he was done with surgeries and just needed time to heal. He needs another surgery?
  5. If the Bills didn't miss, this would not be a topic. The problem is missing. Not our draft position. Nor is it the number of draft picks we have or how we trade them for whatever.
  6. So wait... Who do we want to fire now and in what order? Russ Brandon? Doug Whaley? Tyrod Taylor? Dan Carpenter? Any Random Special Teams guy? John Murphy? Just FIX THE PROBLEM dammit FIX THE PROBLEM.
  7. Dude.. You're supposed to post in the thread where it is already being discussed. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/191020-marcell-dareus-thoughts-on-rex-ryans-firing/
  8. And what if you miss with your "sure thing"? Dude. Stay away from the Bills front office. Are you sure you're not a Jet's/Dolphins/Patriots fan? Kidding....
  9. At what point did he say he needed to take a break to hit the blunt he has rollin around in his ash tray?
  10. I won't argue the second point you made - it might be true - but saying EJ looked better in camp and preseason - you just made that up. It isn't even close to being true. Only QB that could move the chains with consistency was TT and it wasn't even close.
  11. Breaking News...... Murph just went postal and is shooting up One Bills Drive. Story at 11 Dude...fricken lol.
  12. And what if you tank the wrong year? Or what if the guy you tank for gets a major injury that year? Or what if you are just wrong in your pick? Then you tanked for nothing. Tanking is dumb. You can either recognize talent or you can't. And if you can, you can get it in every round. How many Superbowls has Indy won with Andrew Luck? Was it still worth tanking?
  13. You could just start a new thread like this every year at the end of the season. Probably next year too. If only we had unlimited draft picks every year, I bet we could find the right guys. Or just let the bills do their rounds 1-7 drafts all before any other team gets to draft at all. That would work. We would have a major salary cap issue eventually, but we could win a Superbowl with rookies.
  14. No way I am clicking on that. It has to be another Peter Pan Tranny.
  15. The idea that this could happen is so Billsy. Reality entertainment at its finest. Like that one Jerry Springer episode where they had the midget KKK vs, midget black guys. You can't make this stuff up. lol. nice.
  16. I always fall for it when someone does it. Sometimes I cringe. Other times I laugh like I am 5 years old again. Wish there was some way to delete pictures off the internet. lol
  17. I bet the Bills are 100% sold on Tyrod already and they intend to pick up the option - and smile and celebrate while doing so. I happen to think if TT hits the market, he will make a lot more money than Buffalo is going to pay him. But that is just my opinion. The most logical reasons to "not play him" this week are: 1) If he does get injured they are married to him because of cost - by being married to him for a few years it may limit which coaches would be willing to come to Buffalo - this is the overwhelming reason why they can't play him 2) they probably don't mind losing the game - better off playing a backup and hoping he is rusty My bet is that they will get a coach to come in and sign. That coach will realize upon agreeing to the job here that Tyrod is his best option to build a playoff team right away. And he will agree to Whaley picking up the option on TT. It all depends on who they decide on and/or can convince to become head coach here. Chances for getting Tyrod back are very good in my opinion. But, you never know. A coach that wants a pure pocket passer may pass on Tyrod. A Bill Parcels type guy who adapts to his personnel would build a Superbowl team around TT. Don't know how many coaches out there are the Bill Parcels type that will adjust to the players rather than make the players try to fit their system. Perhaps we already have that guy - A Lynn. I don't know. If he is, then I bet he wins the job.
  18. You have to read this story. That is what made me call him a MF.
  19. Not only that - it ended up being the most exciting game of the year - people should have been turning the game on to see how it would end. Oh wait.....everyone knew how it would end. Nevermind.
  20. Sorry bro. My bad.
  21. You are the type of person who loves to put words in other people's mouths. Just like your buddy Bobby does. Because you can't stand it when someone you are discussing football is level headed and being sensible. You are hung up on drama. Go get it somewhere else. I said what I think. EJ isn't good enough to be a starter in the NFL in my opinion. I don't care if you like my opinion or not. And you are certainly welcome to your own. I didn't say he was "basically garbage" you did. Whether he does well in THIS game is immaterial to me because I don't think he will be Bill next year and I would rather see the Bills lose this game (which is really rare for me). But it is an away game with nothing on the line anymore besides draft picks. So it is in the Bills best interest to lose. If it was a home game I would want the Bills to win anyway because I would have already paid for the seats and I would be at the game. In that case, I would hope he puts up big numbers. But like I said - it really doesn't matter either way. The only thing on the line is draft picks. So a loss here and whatever performance by EJ= fine by me.
  22. Remember how stoked McDaniels was when he went to coach Denver and his Denver team defeated Bill Belichick's Patriots? To be the best you have to beat the best. Not everyone is scared of BB. You insult those coordinators by assuming they are scared of their head coach. Plenty of people are man enough for the task of taking them on 2x every year.
  23. I don't think EJ is good enough to be a starter in the NFL. I do think he is good enough to light it up against this Jets team as the Jets are right now - a team that has given up. If this was the regular season Jets who were still in contention of playoffs, then I would expect EJ to have a harder time. But as they are right now, they are as bad as it gets in the NFL - on par with the Browns. Yes he better light it up. Not that it matters one way or the other.
