I had a pretty ugly injury in a basketball game. Knee came out and tore cartilage and ligs. No surgery. But...bMy knee is always on my mind and I second guess every step. Its psychological now. And its been 14 years now. Im 29 and play minor league football. Believe it or not its easier on your knees than basketball. I saw all this to say. Depending on how bad he REALLY hurt himself. The funny thing to me is people who say crazy things like draft a qb every round of every draft until you get one. You know how much of a joke that would make your franchise. Just being known as the team who has such a vast ineptitude and disparity as to mail everything in and disregard the other 23 positions on the team in hopes of finding a gem. Why don't we turn our attention to, and put the onus on the coaching staff and scouts to make the right call. And also develop and make sure their guy flourishes. How come other teams haven't had the same turnstile of qb personnel while finding their guy. And the most frustrating thing about it. Teams are finding solutions after our team drafts. I have to agree with people who says this team is definitely a team that swears they can out smart the process. They are and have been trying to be cute for a long time

I think the answer to your question is that pettine looks great because of who he replaced. Wannstedt had a lackluster doormat defense out there every week. So when we finally have a defense that hits and flies all over the place its exciting... Not to mention, the offense leaves the defense on the field way too long. Offensively. .. we saw what essentially the same offensive personnel can do under a creative mind. And this ain't it. Yeah Levitre and Fitz are gone and Manuel Woods and Goodwin are new but. In comparison, this is a massive letdown

We all knew it was coming before the draft. Otherwise such an extensive search would not have been conducted on such an inferior qb class. They just wanted to show that they would. Not because they should.
