Its really simple. Most teams look for players that can physically beat their opponents especially at the skill positions. New England looks for players that can mentally beat their opponents. Its that simple. It works because they have a cerebral QB and they set up their schemes to take advantage of that fact. Same on Defense -
What was Antonio Brown thinking

What I dont understand is that whenever the NFL or the teams want you to see the lockerroom than its no problem(naked and all) but a player wants to let the world get a inside peek into the postgame celebration then its a issue. Either you allow cameras back there at all time or no filming at all by no one -
Matt Ryan in 2013 played in the NFC Championship game and lost 28-24 in Atlanta. A game where they were up 17-0 in the 2nd qrt and didnt score in the 2nd half.

Lazy, unmotivated, big mouth players are in Big Trouble

I dont know what you are talking about. I saw him give up on plays this year. Do you remember the bomb that hogan caught and Gilmore could have made the tackle but he was too busy running his mouth to his teammates while the play was going on. He played not to get hurt like he always does and you saw the results. -

My uninformed list would be Darius, Preston Brown, Hughes, Adolphus Washington, Stephon Gilmore with a gut feeling of Darby as well. Yes all defensive players -
St Doug officially head coach in Jax.

Lets see what he does without Jim Schwartz saving his ass -
I've said it all weekend. Does not seem like Playoff Football. Weird. To be honest so far the regular season game had more pop and thats saying something

Shrewd Whaley Wins Alliance battle at OBD.

Dude you should copywrite this because I agree 1000000%, by connecting the DOTS that this is the way it went down. Whoever disagrees is a Whaley hater point blank with no objectivity. If Ryan would have won more games then Whaley could have still be unhappy but he would have still dealt with Ryan because heals all things in sports (except Jim Harbaugh and Trent Baalke), BUT when you are losing and the head coach is trying to undermine your influence to the point where Whaley might have gotten fired you can we can see where Whaley went Art of War on Rex. -
PFW: Tom Coughlin the favorite to replace Rex Ryan

McCoy and Gills a and Karlos Williams were on the roster last year and guess what we still drafted Jonathan Williams. Jonathan Williams cant hold this dude jock strap. McCoy is pushing 30 years old. Think about the future for once. You act like I'm talking bout taking him in the 1st or 2nd round. I need to see him at the combine but this dude has skills you cant teach. -

I dont think he would go earlier than the 3rd or 4th Thats why I brought him up. -
I just for a quick sec glanced at the IOWA / FLORIDA Bowl game and in 2 sec this dude JUMPED off the screen at me and I was like who is this dude. I had to look him up and yep this might be Mccoy future replacement. Reminds me of Levon Bell. Look at the footwork and vision and pass catching ability Sleeper pick

GM Doug Whaley's end of season press conference
Protocal69 replied to Rico's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think this is what happened when the BILLS hired Rex Ryan and that it went down like this: Russ Brandon wanted Rex. Whaley really didn't want Rex. Whaley wanted Hue Jackson Pegulas trusted Russ Brandon more than Whaley so therefore choose Rex because of Brandon's recommendation (Dont let him leave the building") plus they liked Rex as a person. Pegulas after the fact found out that they got played per say by Brandon and Rex. and given how things played out decided to own their mistake and fire Rex and removed Brandon from the process. He would have fired Brandon to, but he is too valuable in his role of marketing and other things that he does for both the BILLS and Sabres. So now by letting Whaley handle the hiring process this is Terry's way of saying 'fine we were wrong' so I'll let you call the shots this time. If you are right great. If not you will be fired and I will nuke the whole thing. -
I was a big E.J supporter because I guess in hindsight I wanted to believe in the person because he seems like a great kid. Yesterday it was fitting that I saw it all come to an end. I realized that he just doesn't have what it takes to play QB on a consistently high level. That missed touchdown to Clay embodied his career as a Bill. I really wish the guy well in the rest of life. PS. That felt really good to get that off my chest.

I know this is crazy, but could Sammy Watkins comments been his way of getting Clemson 2.0 here. We literally if he wanted to come here could have Clemson coach Dabo Sweeney, WR Mike Williams (1st round) and QB Deshaun Watson (2nd Round) I know the offense scored lot but having Sweeney here to change the culture here like he did in Clemson, I nice number 2 receiver in Mike Williams who could play like a number 1 and a QB in Deshaun Watson who could get Sammy the ball who still has come mobility would all help Sammy and in turn help the team. Give Dabo 4-6 million and I think he would come here for his next challenge.

So again they realised Watkins plays for the team

I was mad when he did it, but what is probality going through his mind is staying on the field and healthy. Maybe next year when he is 100% or close to he will be willing to fight for the extra yards -
