  1. You do realize that Frank Gore is 5 years OLDER than Shady right? Your calling him older than dirt, by your account Gore is from the Stone Age. Shady only has this year left on his contract, and Gore was signed on a one year deal. Signing Yeldon makes sense, but cutting Shady makes none. Yeldon would probably be a ST's player for the most part, but be in the stable in case one of our aging RB's get hurt. I doubt after this year neither Shady or Gore will be on the roster though.
  2. I remember hearing about that one on the NFL Network a few years ago Happy. I agree that there is some level of subjective-ness to those "questionable" calls based on who the QB is but the fact that there is is total BS. The rules are there for all to follow and be held accountable. Who the QB is should not matter. These little side bars before games that the refs have with Brady in my view are a total lack of propriety in staying fair and objective when calling games. Any ref that is caught doing it should be tossed out of the league on their a$$.
  3. I agree with Aussie Joe OP. Keep fighting the good fight and there is definitely a lot to be optimistic about for our beloved Bills. They have made some very wise FA picks, what most would call high value pick ups for affordable $$. The O-Line is looking to be potentially very good providing they can gel and we have picked up a couple FA WR's as well. Scroll through some of the old articles and you'll see who everyone is that we have picked up. Enjoy the up coming season no matter how it turns out and stay strong.
  4. Nope! Not in the least. I am proud to call myself a Bills fan. No it's not always easy to be and I sometimes take a lot of sh*t from people, but I look at the alternative and it's un-thinkable. I mean, what are you going to do if your not.....be a Patriot fan. No thanks. I'd rather drink a gallon of bleach then be a Cheatriot fan.
  5. Don't get me wrong. I wish i was in my 30's too. I'm right there with ya. Getting older SUCKS! LOL!
  6. We will have to respectfully agree to disagree on this one. Age plays a huge factor in getting injured in the sport. Even being relatively injury free up till now with the outstanding training regime that he has, it's not going to help. I am well past 30 and I am going to make an assumption based on your screen name and guess that you are over the age of thirty as well and you most likely already know that no matter your regimen, once you turn that corner, injuries come far easier than before you were 30.
  7. You do realize that AB is 30 years old and will be 31 when the season starts right? His decline is not going to hit in 4 or 5 or even 6 years. It will happen this year or next year. He won't be playing in 4 or 5 or 6 years. The dude is old. I don't care how good he is, he is old as f*** and is a locker room cancer. I would pass on that every time.
  8. Enough with the narratives that certain types of players or players in general don't want to come here. It's been proven to be utter bullsh*t. Money talks and bullsh*t walks. If you did any research you would see that most of the people that sign here end up love being here, and the narrative that you refer to does not exist among any current players. I for one am sick of here about how players don't want to come here, If I was a betting man, I am thinking they are going to do a package deal with the 49ers. The Giants have picks 6,12 and 17. I thing they use those 3 or 6, and 12 along with a 2nd to move up to the second spot. Just my opinion or how i see it.
  9. (in my best Yoda voice)... Read peoples minds you do. Hm Hm I'd say your analysts is spot on tho.
  10. This. I love my Bills and I don't ever miss a game, but I will not let a game played for my entertainment dictate how i feel. Be happy when they win, be disappointed when they lose. I will also add that if watching a game which is for entertainment effects you to the point that you (anyone, not you specifically) miss a day of work over a loss, you have major emotional problems and please seek help immediately.
  11. I predict i wont watch because i hate "Marsha" Brady and ass-bag Bellicheat.
  12. R I P Turk. Prayers to your family and friends.
  13. Maybe a little, but with his height you don't want him to bulky. At least I don't. He is built for speed. Like others have commented, if he can learn to shuck his blocks better he will get much better against the run. I have to agree with you on this. I just don't understand how anyone can be disappointed by a 20 year old rookie who came out and performed as well as he did. Did he have some issues...of course, but he's a rookie. A 20 year old one at that. He progressed through the season and kept getting better which was all i wanted to see with him and Allen. I am happy with what i saw from both and have even higher expectations for next year.
  14. They should retire his jersey. His name will now and forever be apart of Bills legend and lore with the likes of Kelly, Thomas, Smith, and Reed,
  15. Sad to see you leave Kyle but you deserve it. Congrats on a successful career as a life long Buffalo Bill. Your name will one day go on the Wall of Fame for sure. And congrats on your retirement. Enjoy the Golf that you also love to play. I wish i was going to the game to partake in a proper send of for you. You earned it!!
  16. Not just no, it's HELL NO!! M.D was a lazy POS.
  17. All very impressive "Angry Runs" The winner rightly deserved it.
  18. Have to agree with you on both account Hammersticks. True leaders don't act the way Baker Mayfield did in his post game presser. Maybe, but sometime a d-bag is always a d-bag. As Hammer said, I also think that none of the other rookie QB's would have acted this way. Look at how Allen handled the whole Ramsey calling him "Trash" deal. He came back with, "he's one of the top corners in the league". No trash talk, no disrespecting him, not even after the game. Players like that are leaders.
  19. People need to just stop with the Tyrod threads. He is not a Buffalo Bill anymore. Get over it and move on. There is no "if he was here, would we be...." because he isn't. People just got to live in the past don't they? SMDH
  20. Which is total BS. It's either PI or it isn't i don't care who you are. I'm overstating it but every ref should be lined up and shot. They are totally useless.
  21. Great post!! The Defense has really come together. We will lose a key piece at the end of this year when Kyle retires but I think with all the other pieces in place, they will be okay. I could not imagine what this team would be like if we had decent receivers and Allen never got hurt. KB and Peterman are a joke. Glad to see Peterman got cut yesterday. The offensive line seems to be really start to come together and jell as well. Milano definitely seems to be becoming a stud and Edmunds is already a stud. He is amazing at working laterally on the LOS and shooting into gaps and closing distances with RB's. You are correct. As the OP states he was giving the DL and Star some "love" for an otherwise sorry season with how the offense has been performing. With all the cap space next year, I can see Beane adding a stud WR or two and a few top tiered O-Linemen to give Allen some trustworthy targets. As i states above, KB is a joke, but I will say that Zay Jones seems to have really made the adjustment into the NFL game after the poor showing last year and has got the lights on now as well. Robert Foster seems to be a gamer for sure after the showing he gave last week but I will hold off judgment for sure since we were playing the Jets last week.
  22. So what you're saying is that this team's only issue is QB play at this point? If you truly believe that then i question your ability to understand football. QB play is only a very small part of the issue for this team. Poor O-Line play has been a huge factor in the offenses woes though I will say they played fairly well against the pass yesterday. Not great but very well. There were times where Peterman has a TON of time to through. Which brings us to another issue.... our receivers. We have no number one receiver and frankly they all suck. The Bears played man to man all day because Peterman is no threat with his arm or his legs, and our receivers are so bad they can't get separation. It is the offense as a whole that is the problem. The line is starting to Gel and when Allen is back things will improve....to a point. But with no receivers it will only go so far. This year is a wash so get use to losing. We have 10 picks in next years draft. I expect a run on quality offensive players with a sprinkle of defensive guys to replenish for depth and a big push in FA with all the cap space coming. I don't understand complaining about the loss of Watkins or Glenn either. Watkins was not buying into the "TEAM" or McD's system and did not want to be here. Why would you not trade him? Not to mention what has he done since he left? It's not like he is lighting the NFL on fire with his spectacular play and catches. And as for Glenn, good ridden's. He couldn't even stay on the field because he was always hurt.
  23. The OP might have too but i was talking about Hauschka. LOL!!!
  24. Hahahahahahaha. Someone got into the liquor cabinet didn't they? He went to IR
  25. 100% agree. For sure, he doesn't need the money and I would go a step further in saying that if they asked him to, he would probably do it for free if he's not already. Usually, former players like this get a flat rate they are paid and a percentage of what is sold depending on what the proceeds of the sale are going to. I have been lucky enough to meet Jim on several occasions over the years and gotten his Autograph a few of those times. I never once had to pay for the signing. He is a genuine guy who loves Buffalo Bills fans and i would be shocked if he was making any more money that just a sitting fee for doing this.
