  1. Howard/Williams/Davis at 10. They have to get some production out of this offense through the air and if Tyrod can't do it at least 12 gauge will have some weapons to try to impress the coaches before we start talking about which QB to draft in 2018. And if I'm looking at QBs this year it would be Kaya in the 3rd or Webb from Cal in the 2nd/3rd. You just described Tebow and look how that turned out for him. Part of your arm strength comes from your mechanics. So bad mechanics = project no matter what he has done in college. Unless Tebow was actually discriminated against because of his faith. Guess we'll find out.
  2. Bills lose 3-2 in another epic match up of Lake Erie. Carpenter misses 5 field goals including one in the final seconds for the win.
  3. President GM Director of Player Personel Head Coach Offensive Coordinator Defensive Coordinator Remaining staff under those three QB OL WR K P
  4. I like me some Scooby Wright. He isn't the athlete some of these other guys are but his pre snap reads and instincts are excellent and since I am pretty sure we are using the #1 pick on the D Line, Scooby would be a great pickup in round 2 or 3.
  5. Sealed his fate as in got a contract extension? LOL The knee jerking that goes on, I swear. Also, if we draft a running back again I'm going to throw my TV out the window. This is the very, very, very last thing this team needs.
  6. Jayron Kearse, SS Clemson. 6'4", 210 lbs Kearse is a freak athletically. Physical at the line of scrimmage, excellent ball skills, would make an excellent SS/Linebacker hybrid. Question will be where he goes. I've seen any where from 1st to 3rd round.
  7. Probably from numerous, level headed people who know football. Snarky doesn't equal right.
  8. Polian is out of touch. The game passes you by as you sit in a cushy ESPN job. Why do you think guys like Cowher and Gruden haven't come back? They're well aware that they would face a serious uphill battle. We have two Pro Bowl alternates (which by the way, are the two "old" guys) on our line but they're aging and unathletic? Tells me all I need to know right there.
  9. I think there may be quite a few cross eyed Bills fans.
  10. The guy has 13 starts, doesn't matter how long he backed up Flacco. You don't get a sense for the speed of the game in practice and it certainly doesn't come from watching on the sidelines. 3rd down conversions aren't only on the QB, a lot of it has to do with play calling. I think Roman's play calling in critical situations is atrocious. If you want Tyrod to pass for a first down he's gotta have more than 2 routes to choose from. People criticize his tendency to throw it up down the sideline in those spots but he's throwing to Watkins so my question is, why is your best receiver running a go/fly on 3rd and 8? Seems to be a regular thing. I think Clay was seeing a lot of targets because he is at least running a sensible route in those situations. And don't even get me started on the short passing game. I loved seeing Bridgewater stand up from center and shoot a pass to his outside receiver last night. Watkins made his living off of those kinds of plays in college and Roman hasn't done it once. You can't just point at the guy with 13 starts and put it all on him. The defense regressed significantly this year, they have over a half mile in penalties, the play calling is suspect on 3rd down and in the red zone and I can't remember a team with more injuries (maybe under Jauron?). The whole team has struggled this year and I think Tyrod is the least of worries.
  11. Sucked to see that. Guy is the second coming of Steve Tasker.
  12. He had a pretty **** day, but he's had a pretty nice season overall, for a rookie starter. 12th in PPG, 12th in YPG. 8th in yards per play (we were 28th last year). Individually he's 5th in YPA, 5th in QBR, and completing 63% of his passes. He's leading a much improved unit from last year and while he isn't the world beater you all expect him to be, he certainly has less to do with the overall record than you think. The defense has gone from 4th in points allowed and 4th in YPG to 16th and 20th respectively. We've been penalized 132 times for 1,142 yards... and that isn't even including yesterday. It's no coincedence that teams at the top 5 in that category have losing records. Taylor and this offense with last year's defense would've been a wild card team at the very least.
  13. Once. And I am pretty sure he took it for a touchdown. It was either a screen or a quick slant. Quick slants and screens are non existent in this offense for whatever reason. Woods was great at catching quick slants in college. The scheme just isn't there. It was nice to see Tyrod taking some deeper drops this week though. It was driving me nuts watching him take these shallow 5 step drops. The shorter you are, the deeper a drop you need to take to see the field. And not to harp on Sammy but does anyone else notice he falls down every time he tries to run after the catch? It's like watching a baby giraffe trying to run for the first time.
  14. Depends on your definition of the word definition....
  15. The only mistake the Bills made in the off season was not offering Schwartz the head coaching position. Marrone is a wuss, Rex is a clown. People seem to forget Schwartz brought the Lions to the playoffs while they were on a similar drought. I think he and Greg Roman could've done a better job this year. The penalties piling up against us this year is a testament to the kind of coaching Rex brings to the table, which is hey, let's be buddies, worry about winning some other time.
  16. Man I hate fantasy football. Two weeks in a row I get screwed by some random career game from the opponents QB.
  17. Rick Perry and a Constitutionalist. Only 81% though, and they are all pretty close. Lowest is 51%. I guess that's what happens when you don't let the media mold how think and feel about things.
  18. It isn't baseless. A running QB makes your run game more dynamic. If they really want to run 50 times a game, they will need a guy like Tyrod. Also, I am watching the game again right now and I have to say, big difference between Tyrod and EJ when it comes to ball placement and ability to change velocity. I still can't see them starting anyone but Tyrod at this point.
  19. We are slowly saving for a move back to WNY and this is good to hear. Being a Rochesterian, I just wish my region could see the same growth.
  20. Who cares? He was brought in to create a dynamic running game. Which by the way, Tyrod adds a great deal to.
  21. If there is even a discussion as to who should start, than we're screwed this season. Tyrod is clearly better than EJ and Cassel. He's the guy that's sat behind the all pro, Super Bowl winning QB. He's the guy that's been groomed (and thankfully, not by Buffalo). It's his time and he has showed in both games. EJ is sketchy against 3rd stringers and Cassel won't be any better than he has been in KC and Minnesota.
  22. Yea that was me. I went total running back this year. I even got a running QB. I was using CBS and another site for player rankings later on in the draft so Yahoo really hated my draft because their rankings were way different after about the 5th round.
  23. SO Yahoo emailed me and gave me a C for my draft. The best draft in the league is a B so I can live with that.
  24. I have no idea how well I drafted but it's gotta be better than last year. This is how Marshawn Lynch would talk if he was a pirate.
  25. That's great and all but seriously, how can you make a date for the night of the draft AND a nationally televised Bills/Browns game??
