  1. CJ Spiller gets a lot of hate for being one of the most explosive players in the NFL. He's been hampered by injuries and poor O line play. Not to mention the abysmal play calling. He and Watkins were both LETHAL in the screen game at Clemson but I can't recall more than a handful of screens thrown to them all year. We have guys that are great in space, but the coaches and the line have to get them there.
  2. I think you will see Foles and a couple of picks come your way. Which is great for the Jets to be honest. When Foles was coming out I thought that he would be a near-perfect fit for Chan Gailey's system, since it was somewhat similar to the system he ran at Arizona and was hoping we would draft him. Highly under rated coming out of college.
  3. I would take either or. Evans/Grubbs plus a well behaved (off the field) Incognito would be a 500% improvement over what we fielded last year. Free agency can't come soon enough.
  4. Forcing players in front of the media is pretty dumb. Let's be honest, do we really think Marshawn has anything insightful to say? Marshawn sure doesn't think so. I would think the NFL would see it as beneficial that a guy like Marshawn doesn't speak in public.
  5. Not hardly. Jerry made it very, very clear that he wanted Johnny Football, just like he was caught telling Adrian Peterson that he's going to make him a Cowboy. Add that with the fact that the Boys don't want to sign Murray to a deal after having a historical season for the big D and it's hardly a leap. The quicker he's on the open market the better in Jerry's eyes.
  6. Our best special teams player is a myth?
  7. Johnny Football sucks, but his behavior has Jerry Jones tampering all over it.
  8. Pete Caroll will probably pick him up and keep Beastmode to have the backfield we should have had. Judging from his utilization of Reggie Bush at USC, this is not a far fetched thing.
  9. If you hear something late at night, some kind of trouble, some kind of fight, just don't ask me what it was.
  10. Well fans shouldn't matter. But I know that Marrone was pushing for a vet both years so that probably caused him to play a little tight. I probably have more faith in EJ than most here. I'm not ripping him for it. I think Lee can bring the best of him out and I think he will win the QB competition if it involves an FA vet and a rookie.
  11. I don't think anyone has questioned his intelligence. He's very much Trent Edwards. Brains, athletic ability and terrified to make the slightest mistake.
  12. That'll be the guy at 50 if they go QB. It will be interesting to see him this weekend with serious talent all around him.
  13. God why is this a thread. I listened to the entire interview a couple days ago and all she said was I didn't have an opinion of him prior to interviewing him. She's not a fan, she's an owner and a business woman. Having never spoken with him personally prior to interviewing him, I am sure she didn't have an opinion of him. People have such a warped view of everything these days. You are getting a glimpse into a billion dollar corporation and making highly irrational assumptions based on somewhat candid interview and a click bait headline.
  14. Lynch was great in Buffalo. People act like he was horrible while he was here. Plus, he loved Buffalo. http://youtu.be/h2uN28EJRlA
  15. I hear Rex is looking for a good tattoo parlor...
  16. I don't mean in a player for swap sense. I mean, if Brady was drafted by a bad team, do you think he's still Brady? To develop a QB, you have to have a good team around him. In our case, it's the line that is the weak link. If they can fix that, I think even EJ can develop. He has certainly shown flashes. But when your team is inconsistent, it tends to make you inconsistent as a QB.
  17. Your stats merely tell you that you have to have a good TEAM to win the Super Bowl. This isn't about having a franchise QB because you know what? When a guy is on a good team with talent all around him, he more often than not develops into a franchise QB. You really think Brady would still be in the league if he had played on a team like the current Bucs or Titans? Why do you think Kelly despised the idea of coming to Buffalo? The QB has to have a good TEAM around him to win football games consistently. Period.
  18. You know why there are so many open college spots? Because there aren't many jobs left in this country that don't require a mop or spatula. People have wised up and stopped wasting the money on a piece of paper that only promises a lot of debt when you're finished.
  19. Only in pro football does a player have to have collegiate experience. Just remember that when you're talking about his "experience." Because if it wasn't for that requirement guys like Newton wouldn't have ever stepped foot on campus. Also, to the "he can't read defenses" comment, who's to say he can't learn? In fact I would rather have a guy come in that has less college experience because if he's in one of those gimmicky offenses the less reps he has learning bad habits the better.
  20. I know you don't live in reality, but explain to me why the more affluent 4 year universities would be perfectly ok with losing 2 years worth of tuition? There are already instances where two year credits do not transfer.
  21. Correction. He has seen him play and had his heart broken by him.
  22. He's probably never seen him play. I've seen guys with way less talent get drafted pretty high. As a mid round pick you've got nothing to lose. If he starts and plays even remotely well, you look like a genius. If he ends up being terrible well, 3rd round pick, no big deal. We've drafted worse in the third.
