  1. Young guy who was viewed as the potential number 1 overall pick at one point and a veteran who has won games? I would have Houston, the Raiders and the Jets all worse off than the Vikings.
  2. Go to NYC and order a large soda... oh wait...
  3. If I'm Dan Snyder, I say you're right. The name is offensive. And move the team to Los Angeles. And call them the Banditos.
  4. Jim Kelly $5 Cookie $1 Reed, Moulds and Evans $10 Scott Chandler $1 Bruce and Mario $9 Dareus and Pat $3 London, TKO and Posey $2 Winfield and Clements $6 Jones and Byrd $7 $44
  5. I know this is a Bills board and all... but how do people not see this? One first round pick to move up to 4 and grab what some had claimed was the best talent in this class? And considering the Bills' success rate in the first round, there is no way of knowing the Bills hit on the 2015 first rounder. For all we know, Dareus could be packaged with a pick come next year to move back into the first. This certainly was a great move in terms of what we paid to move up and the player we got. The concern for me is whether or not our highly suspect offensive coordinator can get the offense rolling this year.
  6. If he makes the team, there will be a great number of people looking for him to start week 1. So yes. Yes he will.
  7. Bills get young QB a once every 5-10 year prospect to throw the ball to, bitching and complaining ensues. Not surprising. The Bills gave up alot less to get as good of a receiver. A true #1 guy the Bills have lacked since Moulds.
  8. Watkins will be all over the field. Trying to say this guy will be here and that guy will be there, it's pointless. Besides, if Watkins ends up primarily in one role, we will be wasting his talent, big time.
  9. Except for the fact that Watkins was huge in the screen game for Clemson... Spiller isn't going anywhere, it's Fred's days who are numbered. Spiller and Watkins are a threat on the perimeter, a "power" running game isn't going to happen and shouldn't. That's the old NFL. This team is built to attack all angles.
  10. Three wide, Watkins, Woods and Stevie in the slot. Mike Williams is certainly talented but he is no sure fire thing. Goodwin is great in a 4 wide set, alot like Roscoe. TJ is gone and should have been last year. And Easley is your special teams ace. This team is going to get a little pass heavy, hold on to your butts.
  11. Watkins, Williams, Woods and Johnson. EJ has zero excuse to preform poorly this year. Tuel can find one of these guys open.
  12. Trade down, Austin Seferian-Jenkins in the mid to late first, Kelvin Benjamin in the top of the second, Tre Mason in the mid to late second, Antonio Richardson in the top of the third.
  13. If we aren't trading down then we should be drafting at #9.
  14. That's every thread, every year. You may as well just quit the boards if that's an issue.
  15. This isn't directed personally at you, but wasn't this the exact sentiment last year with drafting a QB?
  16. I was. Sorry, totally forgot about Duke.
  17. I find Byrd to be underwhelming. Williams was just fine with Searcy and Byrd isn't great in run support, which Williams and Searcy are.
  18. Still think Jenkins is more complete, BUT since we've retained Chandler Ebron would be a great pick with a trade down.
  19. He is a 3-4 NT. Wouldn't fit in Schwartz's scheme. And no where NEAR as athletic as Wilfork in his heyday.
  20. If the Bills go after Tre Mason in the 2nd, I'd be elated. A great, inside, one cut runner who has proven time and again he is tough to bring down.
  21. Well, their level of performance is going to determine the accuracy of my opinion. But he is certainly attempting to put the correct pieces in place.
  22. Strange... Whaley drafts a Big Ben-like QB and builds a Steel Curtain-like D... at least someone in this front office understands what it takes to win consistently...
  23. That's debatable. He had big numbers his rookie season, sure. At 9 million a year, he would have to reproduce his rookie numbers pretty consistently and he won't. He's also no where near as good in the run game as Williams and not as versatile as Williams. Combine that with his poor attitude and leaving the team out to dry last year with his "injury" when he didn't get what he wanted and I say good riddance.
