having success as a coordinator doesn't always translate to success as a head coach. He was one of those DC's that was always on camera. He was always jumping and screaming, he got attention and i honestly think that builds up his stock.

Because Congress has control over the NFL's antitrust position that is very beneficial to the NFL. I'm guessing if racism, bigotry, misogyny ... blackballing players like Kaep... , are a normal part of how the league operates, Congress may decide to revisit any laws that are beneficial to enterprises like the NFL.

Gotta think there are more than a few mails between owners about Kaepernick that the NFL would not like to see the light of day. This isn't the 80's anymore. No league like the USFL can compete with the NFL today. Owners will always get stadium funding too.
