    Because of the tight cap situation, I'm leaning toward this. 2 CBs in the draft makes sense of Bills can't sign a vet.

    Saffold has primarily played LEFT guard and Bates looked good there last year. Will he have to compete with Cody Ford for the RG spot? If Bills add another guard will Bates return to his suler-sub role? Not necessarily. There are 31 spots to fill and maybe they will focus on offesnse in the draft

    They already have 8 picks. Do they really need more? Are you talking about trading down once,then moving back up a couple times ( but not back up to 25)?

    I don't pretend to be a draft expert...but have seen mocks where the Bills take a WR at 25 and there is still good value for CB in 2nd round . I wouldn't mind taking 2 CB

    Still have to get down to the 208 cap limit. This is kind of meaningless,it's just the timing. Let's see what they do with existing contracts to actually pay the recent signings.

    No great loss as far as I am concerned. Not that RBs are actually " a dime a dozen " but I'm fine with drafting a couple. Why bring in a 28/29 year-old,on a 2 year contract, when your current backs are close to the end of their deals? Running backs have short careers and rookie backs can usually contribute immediately.

    Yeah ; Washington wasn't going to pay him until they saw a competing offer. I didn't really like this signing,anyway. Would rather add RB(s) in draft because of their short NFL career

    I agree with CB and WR at 1 and 2( dont care which,depends on how the draft goes). I think a punter is in play ... possibly TWO backs...not sure about TE but wouldn't be surprised at another DE.

    With the addition Safford do we assume Bates moves to RG or does Ford get another shot? I would miss Bates' versatility

    Bills would still have Oliver,Jones,Settle, Phillips and a couple others. Most of the DEs lineup inside if needed

    Seriously, would YOU leave money on the table? Granted, you aren't an NFL player making millions. There is still a cap hit for the bonus already paid but not for salary that is NOT guaranteed.

    Bills 3 young DES are the big, rangy , long-armed type and Miller is more of a quick,speed rusher. I want more of THAT in the draft.

    Total cap hit is 7.6, with a dead cap hit of 1.5 so when leaves, Bills get about 6.1 in cap space
