  1. What the heck good is a guy that won't even be available for the first 6 games? And who knows what he will get into after that.
  2. The point is: if he keeps acting up,getting suspended,he is of no use to the team and lets the owners, fans other players down. He is talented and if he is not available to play, the team suffers. He is not as dependable as he should be for a team game.If the Bills were to cut him, I hope there is enough cap savings to sign his replacement.
  3. I think keeping two kickers is a waste of a roster spot, but your list is great conversation starter. Not sure Henderson makes the 53,maybe PS, keep Legursky to back up C/G? We havent heard what exactly is wrong with Hairston;will he be healthy? Lee Smith could still make the team; Jarius Wynn or another DE? Rumors about trading Spiller?? There is supposedly decent cap $ available; a veteran QB? Proven TE? more moves coming, 9 spots left.
  4. geez, they havent even signed and you are already anointing them...Not so sure they are starters yet..wouldnt be surprised to see Pears play out his last year and Legursky hang around as C/G back up. You might not like them but there is something to be said for experience. The returning starters backed up by Cyrus,Cyrill and Legursky woudnt be horrible. But there is that Pears cap savings...
  5. Why the hell did they let him throw 53 times? To get his arm in shape?
  6. He damn well better be "play book' ready. His feet are hurting, not his head
  7. Imagine adding Byrd and Gilmore back in to the mix..I look at the "silver lining";reps and responsbility, opportunity to step up, for AW,Mckelvin,Searcy,et.al
  8. What about TE Zach Mller (TB) if he's healthy, I likl him as much as Gragg
  9. I think Pettine's D might focus more on pressure than sacks. Seems to be some depth and some potential but I dont see anyone getting 15 sacks.
  10. I think the Bills will look at the wavier wire for Te and a couple other spots (G?CB?)..they have cap money in case some quality players get cut. Even if they give Byrd 7 OR 8 MIL.
  11. The discussion re; 53 can be interesting and some my questions already covered,.like traiding B. Smith..What is going on with Caldwell? And, about PS, you have to cut the guy first;then re-sigh him, they dont automatically go to the PS. So a number of Bills could be exposed.
  12. I think Brad Smith might be tradeable...all the young (but admittedly unproven) talent on the roster. Plus, he did re-do his contract. Wonder if we could get anything for Lindell orZSanders?
  13. I didnt know about the $925. I believe I read that veterans get $1500 a week during camp.,since there are no 'game checks" until the regular season. Hey, if an unknown 'camp fodder' type gets an airline ticket, room & board for the summer and a grand week to pursue his dream, that's not a bad gig. if it doesn't work out he can get a "real job".
  14. Nickell Robey, Brad Smith, Ryan Lindell, Torrell Troup, Lee Smith, Arthur Moates, Kevin Elliott, TJ Heath, Chris Hogan, Zach Brown, Demarco Sampson... I wish we could trade Lindell and BSmith;don't think that will happen. Lee Smith and Moats I might have to disagree with. Maybe try to keep Hogan and Sampson around. Tuel; muddies up the waters, in a good way, makes BSmith expendable. A couple of your 11 have PS eligibility and Bills seem to like Robey. I hope we get to the point where we really feel the cuts because that will mean the roster is improving!
  15. I dont think Anderson gets cut..hope this staff can utilize him better. What would the cap hit be if they cut him, how much dead cap money would that create?
  16. I thought Bills would get two #1's if they let Byrd walk? Anyway, i would be disappointed if he leaves. Bills have some cap money, hope they invest it wisely.
