  1. I’m betting an uncomfortable amount of money on the Bills over 10.5. If healthy, 12-5 is the floor. Assuming that it isn’t like -145 or something crazy. I am going to bet 1/2 the cost of a Super Bowl trip. If the Bills go, I will basically go for 1/2 price (or less if I win tickets in the lottery or through some connections). If they don’t go, it will roughly cover the cost of my seats next season. Win/win
  2. That’s what I thought I heard but he talked about how they wanted to draft a DT at a different point. I guess that I came to that conclusion based on both of those comments.
  3. I got the sense that DL (specifically DT) was an area that we would look to add. FWIW, it was so hard to hear in there yesterday!! That is especially true for Brian Gaine.
  4. Pretty much every Mayock pick was a reach. Almost all of them sucked. Kind of the opposite of this thread.
  5. Alex Leatherwood 🤓 He was CLIMBING late in the process though. There was no chance that he fell out of the 1st and almost certainly was going top 20. Maybe it was a surprise that he went ahead of Watson but he wasn’t going too many picks after by the time the draft rolled around.
  6. I like Ingram (mostly because he torments the Bills) and Poona Ford. I think that adds some depth on the DL.
  7. This ^^ Kincaid was almost certainly the BPA on the Bills board. He ALSO has a skill set that they are looking for.
  8. I feel like the people that don’t like the pick are struggling to look at the player and skill set. If you look at Kincaid as a big slot receiver and arguably the best “pass catcher” in the draft you’d like it. Sports have evolved. As an NBA fan maybe it is easier to evolve. We used to look at 1,2,3,4,5 and pigeonhole everyone into one of those 5 spots. Now it is about skill sets that blend. You have lead guards, wings and bigs. The last 2 MVP awards have been won by a 7’ ball handler. Football fans haven’t evolved as quickly as teams. They now have these hybrid LB/S, balanced skill sets in the backfield, QBs that also use their feet, situational pass rushers, etc… Kincaid is a matchup problem. I made a plea before the draft to stop looking at positions and start looking at players. The Bills got one of the best players in this draft and it’s a guy that has a skill set that they desperately need.
  9. Figured Kincade was the guy when they traded up. Nolan Smith was the only other possibility IMO. I wanted offense so the pick worked for me.
  10. I was in Cleveland a couple of years ago. I saw the Bills select Tommy Doyle 🙂
  11. I’d be REALLY surprised if the board fell like this and they passed on Flowers.
  12. It will definitely be Flowers if this situation arises. There’s maybe a 10% chance Flowers gets to 27.
  13. I don’t disagree but if Bryce Young were on the board, they should consider it. That’s the point. The VALUE determines the selection. If they drafted him and flipped him for like pick 29 and a 2nd it would be a great pick. The player ALWAYS dictates what you do, not the position. Teams are way more sophisticated than to commit to a certain position. You used an EXTREME example and it could still make sense. Collinsworth is suggesting that the Chiefs draft Hooker. Teams are way more nuanced than to identify a position and pick BPA at that position. They build their board based on players and then weigh it towards position.
  14. If you recommend ANY position you are a moron. The position is 100% dependent on the players available.
  15. With the 16th pick the Washington Commanders select Christian Gonzalez, CB, Oregon. We were surprised to still see him on the board. With Jones and Wright off the board this choice became easier. @Beastand the Pittsburgh Steelers are on the clock.
  16. Just to be clear, we don’t need to go “this position” or “that position.” It is 100% dependent on the players available at “this position” or “that position.” If, for example, JSN is somehow on the board, WR is very appealing. If, for example, Darnell Wright is on the board, OT is very appealing. The position is irrelevant. The player is what determines that.
  17. 100% agree with this. Bijan is more Tomlinson to me as a runner.
  18. I’ll take anyone but the Panthers (already had them).
  19. The cap isn’t real. Lol, I’ve been preaching that here for a decade. They can absolutely afford him if they want to. It’s a matter of whether or not it makes sense. They’d probably extend him instantly. They’d have a window with he and Diggs. Davis would likely be in his last year on the team.
  20. This is where I’m at. I heard that they LOVE Addison. I don’t know if that’s “love” for a weak WR class at the top or “love” like they would in a better class. He is the target IMO and I think that they go in front of the Giants to get him. That assumes nothing happens with Hopkins.
  21. This draft just doesn’t have the high end talent of others. I don’t think that the Bills pick at 27. Beane LOVES to go up to get his guy. There is a lot of talk about going down but I think it’s just as likely that they go up. Ideally, I’d like to see them do something like 27 & 2024 4th for Hopkins and 34.
  22. Yes I switched to YTTV just over a year ago and it was a great decision.
  23. Tua seems like a really nice guy. It’s a tough situation that he is in. He’s trying to stay around long enough to get that massive 2nd contract. Hopefully the concussion issues subside and he has a long, healthy life.
