  1. Maybe the difference isn't the quality of OL blocking. Could it be that the Bills can't generate a pass rush without the assistance of a blitzing LB, CB or FS? I'm sorry but the high motor DE's the Bills have(including one who is being paid 25 million), rarely seem to come up with the big sack at a crucial point in the game.
  2. Before you fire McNally, I would consider the question I have asked for a couple of weeks now. Who designs the blocking schemes for each individual play, TC, MM, JM??? Sometimes good blocking schemes can hide the deficiencies of mediocre OL players. The only problem, is that the only people who know the answer to this question are at OBD.
  3. ...and how is that any different from 95% of the TBD posters banging on their keyboards right now?

  5. Who gives a sh--. As long as the Bills win, Jimmy Griffin and Alfreda Slominski can call the game.

  7. Game film? Can I get "official" coach game films from the Bills Pro Shop or how about from Fezmid on DVD? When I watch the game back on tape, I have trouble seeing who is who, let alone what they are doing wrong. Game film is the answer!
  8. Very simple...coaches screwing around with the media, who are trying to get as much info as possible. Nothing more, nothing less.
  9. Maybe because his name is Roscoe Parrish and not Terrell Owens or Chad Johnson. I don't think opposing DC's are losing sleep at night worrying about a 3rd WR who has yet to play an NFL game.
  10. I'll take the SB win, tape the game and 5 years from now, pop it in the VCR each and every Sunday during the football season..
  11. We all know there is only one JP quote that falls under the category of worrisome.... He invited me to the house for me to pick him up, so we went to the house for a little bit and there he was, with his tight little shorts, no shirt, with his little red hat, and he was doing some farming or something because he was covered in dirt. It was awesome, man." - J.P. Losman talking about his visit with Brett Favre.
  12. I found this on another message board. Tice and Martz are constantly battling for the title of Worlds Biggest Buffoon!... Sep 27 The Star Tribune reports Minnesota Vikings RB Michael Bennett was expected to be the team's No. 2 running back for their Week 3 game. The Vikings planned to use Bennett more than the two plays he actually saw action on. RB Moe Williams mistakenly was used as starting RB Mewelde Moore's primary backup. Williams carried four times for 2 yards, while Bennett carried twice for 4 yards. "I was not pleased with that," head coach Mike Tice said. "No finger pointing at anybody. We were trying to win a game, and you get caught up in offensive schemes and adjustments and trying to fix protection problems and substitutions at times get lost in all of that."
  13. Boy what a disappointment that would be. I know, I know...all you Posey apologists will tell me how great he is in pass coverage.

  15. I'm on the bandwagon with you. I've questioned Clements play calling and wondered how much he has to do with developing blocking schemes for every play. Keep in mind he was not an OC with the Steelers, just the QB coach. If the offense continues to sputter, at some point does MM take over the play calling? Wyche?
  16. More fun than watching a 10+ year vet in the twilight of his career needing an alarm clock in order for him to know when to throw the ball. http://www.dallascowboys.com
  17. Maybe we don't know what we have. How are high profile guys like Milloy, Vincent, Fletcher, Moulds, Villarial, Adams, Posey, Schobel, Shelton & Teague grading out every week at OBD? Maybe their play on the field isn't equivalent to how they good they look on the depth chart. This is our veteran leadership.
  18. So the Bills aren't going to replace the older players or ones who leave via F/A with other F/A's or draft picks? Did you also consider that some of the "aging" vets on the team, may not have very much left in the tank right now?
  19. If TD is a good GM, he takes the money that was spent on those players you mention and reloads via F/A and the draft ASAP. If not, he is not as good as some think.
  20. In the off-season, I expected the Bills to go 8-8 or 9-7. Looks like 7-9 or 8-8 may be a reasonable goal at this point.
  21. The Bills get a pass this year, but if they miss the playoffs next year, in YEAR 6 of the TD master plan, I'd have to question TD's effectiveness as GM of the Bills.
  22. ...about Kelly being the ultimate Bill? You betcha! ...or about the fair weather fans? You betcha!
