  1. Okay..instead of saying "standing through MOST of the game", I should have said "standing whenever the defense is on the field"! Someone must have a noise level meter. I have a hard time believing that you can yell louder just because you are standing up?
  2. I think there is a huge difference in expectations here. There is nothing wrong with people who scream their lungs out(while sitting down) versus expecting people to stand through most of the game. I'm not sure what advantage fans are providing to the Bills by standing and yelling versus sitting and yelling. PS I'm not talking about standing at the end of an exciting play, I'm talking about Joe Fan who turns his back to the play whenever the Bills are on defense and implores all the other people in his section to stand up with him. Like I said earlier, can you yell louder when standing up?
  3. I appreciate the fact that WM is trying to do whatever he can to get an extra yard, but if he wants to have a long career in the NFL, he has to stop trying to hurdle defenders. I thought for sure he had another knee injury, the way it buckled when they showed the replay. I'll keep my fingers crossed Willis!
  4. http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/gamebook/NFL_20050911_HOU@BUF 3QB 6 S.Matthews, WR 11 R.Parrish, RB 25 L.Gates, FS 42 J.Leonhard, LB 55 A.Crowell, OL 73 J.Geisinger, TE 87 T.Euhus, DT 93 L.Sape
  5. I'm not apologizing for not saying anything good about DB's play yesterday. I don't like Jones, I don't like the Tuna and I don't like anyone who plays for the Cowboys including DB! Therefore, when DB s-h-i-t-s the bed(and you know he will), I will come out guns a blazin' and when he plays well, I'll just store up the venom for the next week!
  6. Please tell me you're not saying that Fletcher and Lewis are the same caliber player because they have comparable tackle numbers. Fletcher is a good player(probably slightly above average). Lewis is still a dominant player even with his play slipping slightly over the last couple of years.
  7. Nope. Also, no listing for "reasonably priced Bills gear store unlike Bills stadium proshop".
  8. I am looking for the name and phone number of the store that sells Bills gear on Abbott behind the 7-11? Thanks
  9. What would be wrong with that? The 9:15PM East Coast starting times are a killer. I either have to be out at a bar or standing up in the living room in order to stay awake for the whole game which usually ends between 12:30 and 1:00AM.
  10. As long as we're debating the final game of LAST year as we are on the brink of the season opener, care to discuss why we really lost SBXXV or how about rehashing Kemp v Lamonica?
  11. I was fooled too. The thread title was just so believable!
  12. Ummmmm...forget the type of pickle juice, where's your eggs??? Are you eliminating ingredients in order to reduce the preparation time?
  13. I'm not sure why this type of info is newsworthy or would surprise anyone. I'm sure there are cliques in every locker room and there are players who rarely speak to each other. I'm not saying it's to the level of TO & McNabb, but I'm sure it exists. To think that in order to be successful, teams must have 53 players who hold hands and sing kumbaya is far fetched. All the HC needs to do, is keep it from getting out of control like what is happening in Philly.
  14. I can't account for every season, but during most of Metzelaars tenure as a Bill, Adam Lingner was the long snapper. Also, Metzelaars was a big boy...at least 6'6". No way Dorenbos was bigger than him.
  15. Equally pitiful...Jacksonville fans. They covered up thousands of seats to reduce the stadium capacity and still can't sell out the home opener.....and oh by the way, they have a decent team to go see. http://www.jaguars.com/story/4635.asp
  16. I'd cut the nfl some slack on this one. It's not an every day occasion when an NFL team has to find a place to play their 8 home games on a months notice. Also, I'm sure Benson is being a pain in the A$$ trying to figure out a way to maximize his revenues in a year where he will have no home games.
  17. I looked up my post from the last time a thread like this was posted... "I've said this since DB signed on with Dallas. I don't like Jones, I don't like the "Big Tuna" and I don't like anyone who plays for the Cowboys. Therefore, I hope that DB has a season a 100 times worst than last year!"
  18. The info you are looking for can be found at... http://www.thepreseasonismeaningless.com
  19. I get a chuckle from the "why not play Peters at <name a position>" threads. That being said, his play at LT during the preseason has been a pleasant surprise. I don't believe he is ready to be a starter, but if he continues his improvement, he could challenge for a spot in 2006. PS I love the idea that he should drop his first name and simply be known as "Peters".
  20. LA...I agree 100%. Since this happened, the mayor has done nothing but piss and moan about how EVERYBODY ELSE is f**ing up, but not once talking about his own inadequacies as mayor of the city of New Orleans.
  21. He's on the PUP list. The Bills can only have 8 players on the PS. There are 9 listed. bb.com f*** up!
