  1. If I never see another "Jim Kelly would make a great coach" thread(which seem to pop up here on a regular basis), I would be a happy camper. He has never coached at any level, shows no interest in being a coach, so therefore why would he make a great coach? Because he ran a no huddle offense....whoop de do!
  2. Unless the inmates are running the ayslum(which is a possibility considering the way this season has played out), who cares if the players back Holcomb. Holcomb has about as much upside as the QB who the Bills brought to training camp year after year and who DB was so upset about when they finally cut him. His name escapes me for good reason.
  3. For those who may be interested, here is a link to the press conference with Ward Manuel(new AD) and Turner Gill... http://stream.buffalo.edu/insecure/shared/...ill_Presser.wmv They tried an asst. from a big time progam(Craig Cirbus) and a HC from Div 1-AA(Jim Hofher) who both failed. Now they turn to a coach without HC or coordinator experience. Who knows how it will work out.....a few years back UB gave the basketball job to a relative unknown even here in WNY and look how that turned out.
  4. If after 4 years of being overweight, he has not had the desire/motivation to lose some weight(and I believe he needs to lose more than 10-15 pounds), I see no reason to believe why he would change now. It's time to turn the page and get out from underneath his HUGE cap hit.
  5. You're kidding right? If you are saying that you would rather have WM instead of LT, you need to watch some Charger football. Not only is LT a FAR superior player, WM has been in a funk most of this year, above and beyond mediocre OL play. I am starting to believe that when MM called out WM for hesitating too much earlier this year, that WM just started running where the hole should be, whether there is a hole there or not. The OL play this year is on par with last year, but WM has not been anywhere near as effective as he was in 2004.
  6. This is it for MNF on ABC. Dandy Don will be back for one more chorus of "Turn out the lights, the party's over". I also believe that we only have one more week of Sunday ESPN PrimeTime left. Does anyone know why the NFL is yanking PrimeTime off ESPN? Is it because NBC will be having their own version of this on Sunday evening before their game?
  7. Way to insult the fans of Minnesota and the great teams from their past... Foot in mouth Vikings coach Mike Tice was upset that there were so many Steelers fans in the Metrodome last week. They were a vocal force during the Pittsburgh victory. So after the game Tice blasted Vikings fans who he suggested scalped their tickets to Pittsburghers. "It confuses me, I guess," Tice said. "Maybe they're not really diehard season-ticket holders or maybe they needed the money for Christmas presents. I don't know. One of the two." Yes, this is the same man who was nailed with a $100,000 fine from the NFL just nine months ago for scalping his Super Bowl tickets. Tice didn't stop there, either. He continued to take on his fans during his weekly radio show. Asked if he felt he wasn't living up to the history and standard of the organization, Tice bellowed, "What history? What tradition? Losing four Super Bowls? Not selling out at (former Vikings home) Met Stadium?" http://buffalonews.com/editorial/20051225/2058036.asp
  8. Come on over to the Sabres Report board and share your memories. Make sure you go check out the link to the Sabres Alumni website(link is in the thread) and listen to the originial "We're going to win that cup" along with all the songs from the Jim Schoenfeld album. Great memories. http://www.sabresreport.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=751
  9. So you want to eliminate signing players who grew up in the Southeast and Southwest where they hone their skills by playing football year round? YOU'RE FIRED!!!!
  10. Cut it out you Patsie troll. Don't you ever have anything good to say about the Bills!
  11. Chest injury? Are his man boobs sagging to the point of causing discomfort? Get in shape and get healthy or get the heck out of town!
  12. I don't get this at all. Regardless of his title, TD was hired because of his football expertise and if RW feels he has failed in this regard, get rid of him. I'm not paying him all that money to oversee the "business" side of the house.
  13. I didn't say I WANTED him to die, I'm just asking what everyone thinks will happen when the day comes. Now you can go back to the high & mighty pedestal you preach from.
  14. 2006 will be a rebuilding year. Say goodbye to EM & MW(and TD ), absorb the dead cap hit and let's hope that this team can begin a resurgence.
  15. I thought before the season started that no matter how bad or good the team would be in 2005, that JP would at least make this season an exciting one. Of course it doesn't help things when he is nailed to the bench. PS I still believe he will be a good NFL QB!
  16. ...and that would be a problem how?? He would sell the Sabres in order to buy the Bills in a heartbeat.
  17. A caller on WGR tonight suggested that the best Chad Johnson celebration would be to score the touchdown and then walk over to TD on the sidelines and fire him!
  18. The good news is that Chuck Lester survived yet another coaching change!
  19. I also like this video from the same site... http://www.santoalt.com/videos/395_Toilet_Scare.html NSFW (couple of f*** bombs)
  20. This is what they say about Krumrie and look at the miracles he has achieved working with our DT's.
  21. It's the elusiveness that I'm waiting to see. Being able to run quickly in a straight line isn't being elusive. Maybe next year he will be more elusive.
  22. I know that roll outs cut down the ability to throw all over the field, but I continue to be puzzled as to why the Bills don't call more roll out pass plays for JP in lieu of the fact that this OL is getting worse not better and he is one of the most mobile QB's in the NFL. Does the staff even realize that DB is no longer under center?
  23. I'm not sure if LJ is that good or if he is a product of the system, much like whomever Denver inserts at RB and instantly becomes Gale Sayers. Either way, he is putting up huge numbers. PS What the hell was he thinking when he signed a 7 YEAR ROOKIE CONTRACT! http://www.kcchiefs.com/player/larry_johnson
