  1. Oakland Place is a great place to take a walk down in the summer time. The houses look awesome from the outside, and I'm sure there are some that are even nicer on the inside than JP's.
  2. Forget about the money. On principle alone, it was okay that Joe D. didn't take this stance on former players while he was playing? There weren't former players falling on hard times back in the 70's? Most players were finished with their pro careers well before 30. They couldn't find a way to make a go of life between the end of their football careers and their retirement years? It's good to know that even back then, the college degrees these players earned(or didn't earn) were worthless.
  3. Joe D. is a bitter old man. A couple of years ago, WGR had him on regularly. Each time, it would turn into Joe D's personal soapbox. Was he this outspoken about the veteran players who came before him when he was playing, or did it just became an issue when he became part of the alumni?
  4. The only thing I hate more in terms of football broadcasts are the 5 man "cackling/backslapping/let's talk all over each other" pregame & halftime shows. PS They gave the wrong guy the boot. I would have dumped Gruden instead.
  5. RMPL... http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/142071-screw-hines-randy-moss-wants-back-in/
  6. I know Larry has only been a once a week contributor to the Buffalo News for a decade or so, but he is finally calling it a career. Congrats to Larry on a great career. The days at the News with Felser, Carucci & Kelley are a distant memory....not to mention Monday Night QB with John Murphy on WBEN930. Here's hoping you have many enjoyable and healthy retirement years. http://www.buffalonews.com/sports/columns/larry-felser/article728474.ece
  7. Way to live up to your handle.
  8. ^^^ This. What are they supposed to do? Game is over. They are in Indy for the night. Stay in their room and watch TV?
  9. Excellent idea NFL. Put more games in prime-time on a channel that is not carried by the country's 2nd largest cable company, and who you can't come to an agreement with for 8 years running.
  10. It will never happen, but that is a great idea.
  11. John...How can Kelsay be a 8 sack per year DE, when he has never even had 6 sacks in a season? http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/K/KelsCh21.htm
  12. First Mario Williams. Now Peyton Manning.
  13. That can't be. A previous post in this thread said that SB tickets have always been expensive. If the price isn't stopping Giants fans, how come there are so many tickets available?
  14. No more Tampa-2 where DE's are 240 pounds and LB's are 220 pounds.
  15. Cheapest tickets on stubhub currently are $2500. That may just have a little to do with it, not to mention the game is in Indianapolis. Cold weather cities are always a big plus when deciding if you want to attend a SB.
  16. ...and who is that you think is signing the checks? Pegula?
  17. It doesn't matter what scheme we are running, there is NO WAY Mario Williams is signing with the Bills in the offseason.
  18. Like I said in the shoutbox, Coughlin should have given Harbaugh the same back slap Harbaugh used on Schwartz earlier this year. Furthermore, Harbaugh refused to be interviewed by FOX after the game. What a dick.
  19. Buddy only likes players from the SEC!!! Wait a minute!
  20. Thoner was logged on last night. Probably saw this thread, and then logged back out.
  21. I like the Pats(if the Bills aren't in the playoffs ). Not only do they play an exciting brand of football, but I find it humorous to watch Brady succeed, when some here have been predicting his downfall for several years now. I'll duck now.
