Is this going to be similar to how "smart" they looked when Brady went down for the year in the first game of 2008, and some guy by the name of Cassel stepped in and led them to an 11-5 record?
Let's not get carried away. Those numbers are off the charts. I would guess that the NYG whose pass rush is great, didn't come close to this last year(in terms of the 4 best players on the DL).
I could live with that. Also wouldn't hurt on occasion to get Koziol and Buscaglia behind the mic.
One other thing...is it really necessary to have Hamilton and Sullivan on 500 times a week?
The only thing that would make me happy about WGR is if they gave Sal a regular time slot. I'll fix the problem...
1 - Hire Sal for the morning drive
2 - Fire Schoop
3 - Move Simon to afternoons with the Bulldog
4 - Bring back sports talk in the evening, and move White and Riter there(I don't care for either of them, so this is the perfect place for them).
If Ralph didn't make it into town for this signing, which is the biggest offseason splash since the Bledsoe deal, we may have seen the last of his public appearances.
Recovering from a broken hip at his age is not easy.
I think between Wannstedt now in charge as DC, the addition of Mario, and hopefully Kyle being able to stay healthy, this may finally be the year where the Bills make a huge jump in the defensive rankings.
