Anyone who bothers listening to WGR for even a minute of draft coverage is not totally there. I will flip between the 3 TV stations of coverage for the next three days. On a related side note, I was surprised to see the cross promotion between the guys on the NFL Network & ESPN.

If it was something as simple as a bad scheme fit, they wouldn't be looking to dump the #3 overall pick from two years ago for next to nothing. Chances are if he can be had for a 3rd round pick or later, I'd venture to guess that there are some major issues with him playing at the NFL level.

Yeah, but this is the chance they(NFL) take, when things have to be bigger, better and greater than the previous year. They want a spectacle, and that is what they might get...a weather spectacle.

Just heard on Sirius NFL Channel that the forecast is so bad for tonight, that they are considering moving it indoors(symphony hall or something like that). Even though the outdoor stage is covered and enclosed on 3 sides, depending on which way the wind is blowing, rain/wind/lightning could be a nightmare.

Hindsight is 20/20, but Rich waving around the blank check, and then subsequently dropping out was a mistake. IMO, it's hard to say because no one sees their books or know how they cook the books but...even the teams with the worst attendance still make money because of the TV contracts. Back to the topic, there is no excuse for the continued lack of success for this franchise. Do it with up and coming players, do it with career minor leagues, do it with over the hill MLB'ers, or do it with a combination of all of the above, but start putting winning teams on the field. This franchise has become so much of a joke, that I wonder if the Pegula's secretly bought them several years back.
