No doubt. loved seeing some excellent run support. Benford had a fantastic edge set on a Henry toss and Elam had a nice open field tackle (I don’t remember who). Those two plays stick out because they offer more to this defense than just coverage ability. Which by the way, they both had their own PBIs that were notable. Kudos here also to the relentless pass rush

I will give him a pass on that. For whatever reasonC that whole play was delayed, and he wasn’t lined up and ready for the snap. It wasn’t an effort or ability fail, so hard for me to pin it on him presnap. -
Jordan Phillips pulled up limp on the Milano pick 6 FYI

I will happily eat some crow here, acknowledging Kumerow has shown much more than I anticipated from him. Still, I want to see 6WR over 3RBs no matter what, if all are healthy. -
It was Lattimore back then too, after Winston hit him on the neck

What a disappointing half for Eckler and my fantasy squad. -
Josh vs. Herbert and Mahomes…

It’s unfair if you’re comparing Allen to Herbert AND Mahomes. Obviously 2 is better than 1. -

Despite a solid stat line, Herbert has missed quite a few throws -

Then you still have one healthy back. You give the ball to your 2nd best RB. If Diggs/Davis get hurt, it may result in our #6 WR, primary a guy kept around for special teams, getting multiple snaps on the perimeter. I guess the parallel I’d make would be if at RB, Singletary went down, and it forgave Taiwan jones into a significant role in offense. It isn’t ideal. Edit: on second thought, I think about it like this: If Singletary went down on the first play of the game, they could get by in our pass heavy offense with one RB and Taiwan in spells. If Davis or Diggs went down on the first play of the game, I wouldn’t feel nearly as confident relying on Kumerow to play a major role. -

Thanks for this info. This situation is exactly what I would hope to avoid by having more options available mid-game if you active Shakir -
Apparently the Titans are starting a 3rd round rook at Right Tackle. Anyone know anything about to Ohio State kid whose name I can’t spell or pronounce? And a rookie Cb? McCreary?

I’m honestly not even sure who is playing, but I am so excited to have a victory under our belt and be able to sit back and enjoy whatever scrolls across the redzone -

This take has nothing to do with how things went and everything to do with how things COULD go. Having that #6 WR could be vital if there is an injury to Diggs or Davis. Dressing 3 RBs is something they traditionally have not done. We’ve always dressed 6WRs, IIRC. I am not arguing Kumerow should be the inactive, but instead it should be one of the RBs. A few weeks ago ppl were talking about cutting/trading Singletary or Moss and now we want all three of these guys active? Again, activating Shakir wouldn’t necessarily mean the top 4 guys would see fewer snaps. It just protects them mid-game to injuries and gives them more versatility at the position. Why all of a sudden the shift to 3 RBs plus Taiwan, instead of 2RBs and 6 WRs -

Sure, and yet it still limits their versatility to have one fewer guy in the mix. A team that has a base 11 personnel with 3 WRs more than any other team in football only has 5 active WRs on game day? It’s like they’re short changing themselves for the handful of snaps the 3rd RB will get.
