Diggs & Beasley - 19 receptions for 259 yards today
Coastie replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You are spot on. There was never a player on the field that seemed that couldn't make a play. And I mean a big play. I remember when Lofton came over from the Packers and it just seemed like extra icing on a wonderful red velvet cake. -
The excitement is palpable and I love it!

Ran into a bills fan where I never expected

Might be taking Bills Mafia a bit too literally 😁 -
Ran into a bills fan where I never expected

From Kentucky, born and raised and I was 7 in 1973, playing my first year of Pop Warner when the 2,003 yard season happened. Been a Bills fan ever since and served all around the country and always seemed to find a least one other Bills fan wherever I was stationed. -
He helped me win my fantasy match-up this week as well, I picked him up because having the Cowboys kicker became untenable a few weeks back. Right now I plan to ride him the rest of the year I thought the same thing then realized a kicker has probably had three personal bests in his first or second game but probably hasn't happened to many in his tenth.

I was pleased we got him but I never expected him to be as effective and frankly as vital as he has. Once defenses started to take the deep ball away, he picked the offense up and carried it where the TEs couldn't.

What were you doing in 1993?
Coastie replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Should have been about the time I was reporting aboard the USCGC Vigilant. Best crew I ever served with and I watched that fourth super bowl at Guantanamo Bay if I recall. -
If I recall only a single buy this year with 3 wildcards meaning 14 teams make it.

Khalil Mack holding out... in Buffalo
Coastie replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If they were willing to talk trade it would be a first and a second ... if we were lucky. -
I remember all the wild places I watched games. First super bowl against Dallas in gtmo, the next cutting lines in the Florida straits. I watched the big comeback against Houston in a navy em club and was so drunk at half time, getting ridiculed for my bills gear that I barely recall the second half, just remember that I was able to get all the squids to start cheering for the bills in the second half. I don't remember anything after they completed the comeback but some of my new friends got me back to the ship thank goodness, I had just reported aboard the three days after Christmas. (Hmm, not sure why the quote swapped but this was meant to quote the Saudi Arabia viewer. Guess I am too old to use technology well.)

Ideal Scenario If No Playoffs in 2018?
Coastie replied to Rigotz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I always pull for them to win but I will admit that if we are already out of contention the loss doesn't sting as much. -
THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - Free Agency Was Over Before It Began
Coastie replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thank you for the review, I enjoyed it and agree. Things are looking up. I spoke to the only other bills fan in my bowling league this evening and we are both excited about where the team is headed. On a purely personal level, as a Louisville cardinal fan I would love the excitement Lamar Jackson brings but I ask past second guessing these guys, I have faith they can make the right decisions and recognize they know more than I do. -
Hard to argue the value of this contract, it is far better than I expected and there is upside with this signing.

Why I would be happy with Lamar Jackson

They cited interview and combine prep primarily. -
Why I would be happy with Lamar Jackson
Coastie replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Story locally here in Kentucky the last couple days is Jackson has not hired an agent, reason stated he is having trouble finding someone he trusts. Good he wants to find responsible representation since so many athletes manage money poorly but it is getting late in the process and one draft "expert" says it could cause him to drop. Take that for what it is worth, we all know how local sports radio can be. -
Zay Jones Trolled by His Mom on Twitter ?
Coastie replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I found this a fun thread and it quickly went down hill. Guess some folks just like to be miserable, I have an aunt like that, never happy unless she has something to complain about. -
Very cool, and yes glad he is sporting bills apparel. Both of them!
