  1. I don't think h e has missed a game. Duribility is a factor not noted in this comment. Helps bring stability to the line w that ability to stay healthy. He will get paid elsewhere imho.
  2. appears to me that Allen is being instructed not to run sometimes. He did not run once in the first half against Miami, seemed to be leashed. They are trying to make force JA into the role of pocket passer. they let him run in the second half. He needs to go when he smells an opening, and is hanging in to long. They are messing w his style. This doesn't in any way oppose the argument the the wideouts are weak as a group. shakir is fine, after that not much. Coleman is big, not fast, and unreliable. He snagged one td yesterday and had another one he couldn't get to on the deflection. Those contested balls were supposed be his thing, but that isn't working out.
  3. Not clear Davis is healthy
  4. Unfortunately, he will be gone. Economics will dictate that as cap availability will be a problem. He will get twice what the Bills can pay. Its a pleasure to see him for one season through. He has good attitude, and likes the organization. He is not going to pass on an extra 10-15 million to enjoy the Bills culture. His brother and he have been driven by their father to maximize their pro income. Nick even sat out the back end of his last college season OSU so he didn't risk injury. Folks from that culture will be dollar driven. I am not complaining, it is their right to optimize in their favor, just observing what seems to be going on. So, JB, give all you have this year. You are likely one and done here ala Terrill Owens a generation ago.
  5. I suspect Poyer is coaching on the field to help the newbies do right. That is OK, in fact, inspired thinking. Poyer is physically less than he was, but, he knows the back end of McD's defense and I understand why he is here now. I guess Hyde could have done this last year, but his physical problems were more serious I think.
  6. Absolutely. Old pros teaching young pros on the field of play! In the field I worked in, we always paired an experienced guy the a newby to help them to learn to perform.
  7. Yes, a change of trainers is appropriate in my view.
  8. If Milano and Bernard can play, it will make a big difference.
  9. He had a two year contract. He may just be gone.
  10. Yeh, coming back to the ball is both football and basketball sound. since Coleman has background in bb too, it is surprising he is not coached up this point. Your comment to dead on.
  11. It was reported when he signed that his knee was still not right from the prior year injury. I cannot quote source at this point as I have forgotten. I am not writing a paper here and keeping references!
  12. His knee is still bad. courtesy signing to Practice squad I think. Maybe done this year....maybe available end of season.
  13. A few decades back the Bills were just like the Browns are today. (Hank Bullough era) In those days, the Lions were the only team as bad as the Bills I think. Times change it appears.
  14. Oh yeh. I also noted in the game that a lot of Bills lost their footing during play. Its like they don't practice on their home field. Oh, wait, they don't! the bulk of work is in the dome where the turf may not be like the weathered/weather modified surface that games are played on.
