  1. Oh yeh. I also noted in the game that a lot of Bills lost their footing during play. Its like they don't practice on their home field. Oh, wait, they don't! the bulk of work is in the dome where the turf may not be like the weathered/weather modified surface that games are played on.
  2. The D is the problem these days, despite holding NE to 23 points. And, how do you loose so many folks to injury in practice? Something wrong there.
  3. Yes, some of the worst officiating I have seen in many years. (a Bills fan since the 60's btw) Hasn't been that bad since the 80's imho. I gave up the NFL for a few years because the officiating was so bad back then.
  4. Gilmore was avoiding contact when w the Bills his last year. He was a major liability against the run. Playing to get to free agency healthy. He played hard for the Pats and performed. I was glad to see his bad attitude go. The NY press needs its anointed stars. His contract was about selling tickets in NJ. He is ok, but not $30mil/season ok.
  5. Brady had a Daboll like brain cramp on the Shikir running play on 4th down. Brought back memories........of Daboll.
  6. A tie would hurt both teams in the playoff picture! (I think)
  7. YES, they are bad. They use all the preplanned inserts to tell "story lines". But, they don't call the game for the fans. Who got hurt...the wide reciever, didn't know his name. At least get those guys some spotters to feed them the names. Who go hurt?l NO coverage if it isn't a QB. Who subbed in? Never mentioned. The NFL broadcast are now canned in format, and must be trying to appeal to folks that are not football fans.
  8. He is done as a Bill after this year.
  9. If the Bills practiced more in the cold weather, they could maximize the advantage somewhat more. Used to bwe the cold weather environment was a clear buffalo advantage. (except against other cold weather teams ) McD doesn't do much outside, spend the practice time inside installing the weeks plans. Thats ok, but really gotta do both.
  10. I watched Dan play on a black and white TV in the EM club at Fort Polk, LA in 1968. Small screen, the AFL fans, in those days, were closet cases, and the big room color TV's were for the ,then, NFL fans. This was the time of the AFL/NFL bidding wars, and I had a few debates w the guys from Chicago and NY. Anyhow, DD had a tough go that season, I think that was the season that allowed the Bills to draft OJ.
  11. I like this better than the sleep commercial. I use NB myself, and they make killer shoes.
  12. He got his $18mil plus more so I get it. Just didn't want him back.
  13. HE was a 10%+ drop rate receiver. I hope he never sees the field w the Bills again. Not a good signing imho.
  14. Charlie Ferguson if he is still alive. Was a collegue of mine after his Bills career. Played around Ernie Warlick's time, was also a TE.
