  1. I agree, but listening to Chan, U can't always run the ball. Apparently you CAN always throw it though!
  2. I find it interesting that the Bills will be facing Jauron. And looking further Childress is the O coordinator. http://www.clevelandbrowns.com/team/coaches.html What does this tell us and what does it mean to the game plans. We know Jauron will play some for of Tampa -2, or break don't bend. Childress will try and throw the ball all over the place. Cleveland seems to pass the ball much more than run. Check the stats. ===================================================== http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats?seasonType=REG&offensiveStatisticCategory=TEAM_PASSING&d-447263-n=1&d-447263-o=2&d-447263-p=1&d-447263-s=PASSING_ATTEMPTS_PER_GAME_AVG&tabSeq=2&season=2012&role=TM&Submit=Go&archive=false&conference=null&defensiveStatisticCategory=null&qualified=true
  3. If they can limit the pass attempts by Fitz, 10-19 will work, or even fewer, the Bills have a chance to win games. Look at all the games he's played for the Bills.
  4. Bingo. NO adjustments, and just tries to keep on doing his thing no matter how futile. Don't be sorry, be smart,
  5. Levy and Jauron sure can pick'm!
  6. One issue is that there is no O coordinator to fire. It's Gailey. And if the D doesn't improve, what do you do with Wanny? Promote the already promoted guy who can't get a D playing correct and promote him? Still with no D coordinator and now with a vacancy at O coordinator? They are really going to be messed up, and then we start the whole cycle over again. Gailey is already starting to sound like Jauron, with "need to look at the game film", "need to tighten up". Insert cliche, for when a coach doesn't really know what to do or doesn't have any ideas. You need to look at game film to tell you your defensive backs are getting smoked?
  7. Right. I'm not sure I would have started there, but it's a start. Seriously, if I'm G.M. I'm starting to cut guys loose.
  8. Someone needs to intervene and protect us from McLuvin. Watch the Bills re-sign him during the season for another 5 years.
  9. McLuvin is horrible. He just doesn't belong on a Pro NFL team other than to return punts: I have been wondering about that also. Did he not field a punt inside the 5 this past week? He is bad in coverage, and I don't know WHAT this coaching staff is looking at. Gailey said after the game something to the effect that he needed to see the film of the secondary, and they needed to "tighen up". Really? You think so? What are you looking at when you see McLuvin on film? Someone needs to fired or let go, or both.
  10. FYI: Actually I think it's already 12 years: not that anyone is counting. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_NFL_franchise_post-season_droughts
  11. What is going on the secondary? Between five guys you have 2 first rounds, 2 second rounders. Now either the: A) The front office badly misjudged the talent when letting Flo go. B) The scouting department had it all wrong. C) Coaching is horrible. D) Game planning is horrible. Which is it? You can't have that many high round picks on that unit and look that bad. ============================================================================== http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephon_Gilmore http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aaron_Williams_(American_football) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jairus_Byrd http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leodis_McKelvin
  12. Who knows, somebody should ask him.
  13. If Chan Gailey wants to save his job, if he can, he better figure out how to start running the ball a lot more and throwing a lot less: Same as last year, Fitz can't throw and weak WR group.
  14. I'm starting to think the Bills really screwed the pooch on the WR portion of the roster.
  15. Back away from the keyboard. This is year 3, and this is not a good team.
  16. Hello. Game link. Not another thread. THX.
  17. Jets edge defenders are fantastic against play action, rarely if ever lose contain on the naked boot. Complete opposite of the Bills who are terrible on contain (I’m looking at you Chris Kelsay) Very nice. With Kelsay playing RDE, does this limit his exposure to the bootleg plays, as QBs would be going to their RIGHT, toward Williams? I don't really know.
  18. They "should have" kept Flo on the roster for when McGee does down, or on the IR, or pulls a muscle, or on the first play of the season goes off the field.
  19. When the Bills throw the ball more than 20 x / game, the Bills lose. A lot of that is on Fitz.
  20. + 1 Yes, we will know one way or the other. I just hope people will view the season and his performance objectively.
  21. It wasn't just people on this board saying that. I also happen to think that's the reality. http://www.billsdaily.com/schedule/2011results.shtml
  22. I am really starting to hate the preseason.
  23. + 1 So much for coach speak.
  24. +1 Bingo. FWIW: I had really expected the D to be better.
