  1. I think teams will come at him again very hard as he can't seem to handle speed to the outside. He will be going up against Paul Spicer who looks to be about 100 lbs lighter than MW. # 95 Paul Spicer Position: DE Height: 6-4 Weight: 287 Born: 08/18/1975 College: Saginaw Valley State NFL Experience: 5
  2. 2002 1. Mike Williams T Texas (4) 2a. Josh Reed WR LSU (36) 2b. Ryan Denney DE BYU 2003 1 Willis McGahee RB Miami (23) - Projected Bust 3 Angelo Crowell LB Virginia (94) 2004 TBD How many STARTERS from 4 years of drafting?
  3. Speaking on the "whole", you seemed to very quickly move from that premis to picking one player and stat to go with. How many sacks did the O-line give up last year?
  4. You said TD did a good job on the whole. I just don't see it. I will give you a B- on his drafts. You grade "on the whole" coaching staff and overall record grades. Fair enough?
  5. Wire looks to be a good backup who will start only because Lawyer Milloy is hurt. Jennings is somewhere around above average. Where are all the starters he drafted. Seven? Regarding your creative "fellatio" crack, I think we should keep your personal activities or desires out of this thread.
  6. Record as a whole, a good job? Based on what? GW and Gilbride, 17-31, or bust dratf picks?
  7. What part of the article is complete crap? His first hire was a failure and allowed GW to bring in a bunch oif nit wits and friends including Gilbride. His drafting has also been very supspect. 17-31 after three years. Not good. at TD.
  8. I am in agreement with Sullivan, and believe he (TD) has made arrogent picks not realizing the true talent and state of the team. His take on the interview of GW and TD finding a top rate staff, selling us a load was also right on.
  9. "Ol' Whitey" sure seems thin skinned. Remember when he scolded the fans for getting GW run out of town?
  10. Excuse me, I have been a member longer than you. Every team needs quality depth, however not from players drafted with a number 2 pick. Players taken that high are expected to start. B)
  11. Good points, taken with the larger perspective.
  12. That is kind of the whole point, TD reached to draft Denney then drafted a 2nd round DE the next year. I think if a 1st/2nd round pick does not start after the first year, if they are not a bust, they are not getting much done. A 2nd round pick not starting the 3dr year looks pretty bad. Remember, Denny was a bit older to begin with and is 27 years old now. He should be well into his prime I would think.
  13. As the decision has been made regarding starting left D-end, is Denney now an actual bust as has apparently been passed over by a 2nd year player? Would seem so to me, although I now the opinions very.
  14. I agree 100 % and would also add, why draft a project at a position you have a Pro Bowler at when you are actually an average to below average team?
  15. Yes, and this is TD's 4th year drafting for the future.
  16. Yes, and this is TD's 4th year drafting for the future.
  17. ANY player that was able to walk on the field would have been better than nothing, which is what we got from WM. It's about making the team better. WM did not do that.
  18. How many yards did Willis McGahee gain on this 6 - 10 team last year?
  19. Great, a 1st AND 2nd round pick that don't start. Again, this team was 8-8 that season. Not in the playoffs then, and not close last year.
  20. A thought: How much better would this team look on paper right now if TD had used that pick on an offensive lineman. Better yet, traded down to get a 2nd and 3rd round pick o-linemen. We would have had two linemen with their rookie years behind them.
  21. I think I mentioned that assclown2: "The 2004 preseason offense would be the "experimental group". Less information to work with and not an actual experiment." Let's try and keep your oral fixation issues out of the posts, OK?
  22. Wow, that makes me fell a lot better. You are really spinning this thing hard. When I say "starting unit", I mean the overall starting unit, as opposed to the second or third team units.
  23. I don't think they will do better than 6-10 because I don't see many improvements, you have a new coaching staff with the same QB and the defense made it through last year with few injuries. This may not happen again.
  24. I really hate to keep on about this, but where are all the "McNally is going work wonders" posters. No touchdowns in three pre-season games from starting unit. That is not a good sign. I tend to agree with Tony Bogyo's article where he essentially feels we are in for the same type off offensive production this year. That fact that we are down both backups is also not a good sign. The Statue is going to get killed and that will be that.
