  1. Was it Sheppard that was co-hosting a weekend AM sports radio show, ESPN out here or something like that?
  2. The Bills have now completed training camp, are into the pre-season games and I am not seeing that either Pears or Wood are off the injury report and practicing fully. With about three weeks to go, is it now time to be concerned? Some will say no, but if you are missing reps. from two starters on a unit like the O-line, that is a negative going into the season. Even if some say it's not, I can see commentators saying the unit doesn't look great because these guys missed most the snaps in camp. Any new info. or rays of hope. http://www.billsdaily.com/injury/
  3. YEAH! That way he and Stevie can do some sort or combo sideline, endzone, prop-staged, look-at-me dance!
  4. I like hime. If he can get back on field, takes some plays away from Jones, he can explode! Pro Bowl next year!
  5. He Dressed!!! I smell Pro Bowl!
  6. This. This is really my biggest concern re: the team right now. If Gailey could not or would not adapt and make adjustments last year, what makes anyone thing he isn't going into this season with his same approach? Teams will be prepared for what they saw last year, and if he maintains his offense, the season on O at least could get off to a very ugly start. I hope not, as he can't really fire the O coordinator, which is another reason I don't like this setup.
  7. I am no Jauron fan, at all, but Gailey has yet to prove anything himself: 3 wins and 6 wins shows me nothing.
  8. + 1 Let it go. Kelsay is what he is: a warm body. If Kelsay gets more than a small limited number of snaps at RDE, offenses will just go at him and avoid Mario. Really, 2nd day of training camp and Kelsay is on the field: all is well at OBD!
  9. He's in his last year of rookie contract I believe. So we'll see what happens with him.
  10. Understood. Re: attempts, I agree. It's almost seems like Gailey really WANTS to get into a shoot-out and hope for the best, when in reality, the teams chances seem to me to be a lot better when they don't throw the ball all over the field and run the ball much more.
  11. OK. Fitz threw for 27 or < attempts/game four (4) times last year. Guess how many of those were wins? 4. That's 100 %. Fitz threw for > 27 attempts/game twelve (yes I checked the math) times last year. Guess how many were wins? 2. That's 16.6 %. I know stats lie and all that, but those #'s are shocking. Explain that away. Tidbit, which doesn't really mean anything but interesting. His 25th throw against the Giants sealed the deal via an INT, and basically cost the Bills the game. i think he admitted this himslef after the game. His next 4 passes, he went 1 out of 4.
  12. You know what, I seem to recall that also.
  13. The real Fitz collapse started against the Bengals. Weeks before any actual, reported or alleged injury. He was brutal against Cincy, the D scored 2 TDs. Looked average against Eagles. Efficient, and Gailey went heavy on the run game. He cost the Bills the game against Giants, again pre-injury. Had nice stats, but threw the game away in 3rd and 4th quarters. Check game log for yourselves. http://espn.go.com/nfl/boxscore?gameId=311002004 http://espn.go.com/nfl/boxscore?gameId=311009002 http://espn.go.com/nfl/playbyplay?gameId=311016019&period=0 FYI: I'm not saying he was or wasn't injured or hurt, I don't know, I'm just saying the collapse started well before Washington game.
  14. FYI: Fitz only appears 1 x in the NFL team injury report for last year. Prior to game 9, Jets game. http://www.nfl.com/injuries?team=BUF Notes say practiced fully. Ryan Fitzpatrick QB Chest Full Participation in Practice Probable
  15. I have asked several times, including yesterday, and have not seen anything confirming Bills organization (front office, coaches, trainers, G.M.) stating Fitz had cracked/broken ribs. People constantly bring up being injured last season, and that being a major factor re: his 2nd half performance, yet no one provides any actual information. I would say, yes, put the myth to rest pending any real, tangible references. And if he WAS hurt, I would can the O.C. for not going to the run more. But that's another topic. Go D-line!
  16. Well then, if a QB coach says his mechanics and accuracy have improved dramatically, and the QB says his mechanics and accuracy have improved dramatically, then everything is going to be fine. By the way, I would say a combination of C and D. Seriously, I hope this is the case, but come on. Who doesn't get better and improve and look great in the off season. Or at least say the have.
  17. Q: I have asked a couple different times, and don't recall seeing the answer anywhere, however did anyone from the Bills organization (coach, front office, GM, trainers, Fitz himself) ever say Fitz was playing with a cracked/broken rib?
  18. Right, some of both. Hopefully the new QB coach will help, as some including Fitz had stated. I've never cracked a rib, however had injured/torn cartilage a couple times, and I am rather suspicious of the rib injury myself.
  19. Buffalo was 10th in pass attempts / game in 2011, and 27th in rush attempts / game in 2011. Per NFL.com Interestingly enough, they were also 4th in rushing yards/attempt and tied for 22nd in receiving yards/attempt. Keep throwing Chan.
  20. Huh? So you are in agreement with previous poster it's not decisions, but mechanics then? Just asking.
  21. Q: Has anyone ever confirmed the injury question? From the Bills front office or management?
  22. There are always going to be people who defend whoever the Bills QB is, regardless of performance or production. o Some were all into RJ, who if only had an O line and corrected his sack problem was the real deal. I bit some on that one. o Some were all exited about JP, who had a few good games throwing the ball downfield to Evans for nice TDs. o Some were all exited about TE, who also had a nice stretch to start a season, and looked promising. I thought he was going to make it. For a short time. o Now Fitz is the guy under center, and again there are those diehard supporters. I think anyone can have a good series of games in the NFL, until D coordinators figure them out and take away what they do well. Fitz has shown he can be an "upper echelon" QB for a few games, and that's about it. He was absolutely brutal in many games last year, insert plausible reason here, and needs to show he can be at least a reasonable NFL QB for an entire season, or I'm drafting a QB very high. IMO. FWIW: I do think Fitz can have success, by throwing much less and an O that runs much more, but Gailey seems to be averse to this from what I have seen.
