  1. Both of these guys are probably over the hill. Boths are 31. Mcgee can't stay on the field either.
  2. Very nice. Alex Carrington anyone?
  3. Trying to be objective: Review Torell Troup Selection # 2. 2nd round, pick 9, 41 overall. Two years, IR'd 2011. 2010: 23 combined tackles. No sacks. 2011: 8 combined tackles. No sacks. Grade: D- http://www.nfl.com/player/torelltroup/496869/profile Playing on one of the worst D's in the league the past two years.
  4. I could see him running a route on O, fogetting he was a receiver, and the balling hitting him in the head or something.
  5. You don't miss the playoffs 12 years in a row by accident. Or injury. Take a look at the 2010 draft: http://www.buffalobills.com/news/nfl-draft-2010.html
  6. I know I'm in the minority here, but between blaming God, the games losing dropped passes and all the other stupid crap he does, I'm pretty much done with Stevie. Spend the money on a pass rush or O-line. PLZ
  7. Correct. They also have a franchise QB and a pash rush.
  8. Right. I just don't see the Bills pulling off a 10 -6 or 11 - 5 record to make the AFC wildcard. They aren't going to beat N.E. and win the AFCE division.
  9. Excuse will be new D coordinator and shifting to 3 - 4 ?
  10. Any roster/depth chart that contains Kelsay and Merriman as starters at the beginning of the season is doomed. This D needs about 3 or 4 more starters to be average IMO. Guys are going to go down, but if the most reliable and best players aren't even really NFL starters, then you're screwed no matter WHAT happens or where they line up.
  11. So, how many more years will i t take now to get the 4-3 working? I can hear it now: be patient. It takes time. We need to get the right guys and it takes a while to gel.
  12. Seriously right. What unit on this team could not in reality use a 1st or 2nd round pick?
  13. I'm excited! To NOT see Kelsay stumbling around in space trying to play OLB. Not sure about giddy. Seriously, I've seen him out there looking like he's wearing skates or something. He's best on the LDE spot if the Bills insist on putting him on the field. If the defense does impove this year, which it must, all will have a much better perspective of where the weak spots actually exist. I give the Bills two (2) more wins next year: 1 for getting rid of Edwards, and 1 for going with the 4-3 and drafting D again.
  14. No more Kelsay running around out in space, stumbling around! ... what HE said. Yeah, the problem is, it took them 2 years to finally figure it out.
  15. Ask and you shall receive.... Bill Daiy " Bills Go To 4-3 Defense Chan Gailey unveiled his new coaches at a press conference this afternoon and announced the team will be going to a 4-3 defense with some hybrid looks "
  16. Nice Astro. That's the way to draft. The draft every year is weak is some aspect and strong in others. With all the Bills needs, should be easy to let the draft come to them if they're smart.
  17. Cool. Thanks. Should make draft speculation more interesting. I hope.
  18. I think I posted before, what do we really know? Why don't we know more? Are the Bills trying to keep it a secret prior to the draft? Will they go all defense in the top 3 or 4 picks?
  19. Right. I get it. I think also if Gailey ran the ball more they would have an even better chance of doing that.
  20. Why do you think Fitz can take the team places? Based on what? He had a full season to show what he has and most of it wasn't very good. He is very capable of losing games. Agree somehat, however comparing Dilfer on that team to Fitz on this team doesn't add up, IMO. The Ravens were based on defense and didn't require Dilfer to throw much. Gailey's offense is basically predicated on throwing, all the time, no matter what, even when they shouldn't.
  21. Maybe not in THAT order, however BPA at each with NO reaching. Prefer QB first if possible. Unless value dictates LT or DE.
  22. Honestly, I think Ralph has pretty much given up on "Winning" with a big "W", and is more concerned with generating just enough interest to keep people buying tix and showing up. He's riding this thing out all the way, and basically letting the cards fall where they may. If they have franchise QB drop to them then great. I do npt expect any great moves re: QB however.
  23. Bills don't trace down.they only REACH.
  24. Evans doing his best Stevie impression.
  25. Retire or can't play anymore: until he's back on the field, he's finished.
