  1. Excellent post. Never thought of that. Also, just noticed ALL six players are on the defense, which appears to be the bulk of the rebuilding effort.
  2. I have felt the same way, but it seems this to be a minority opinion. McGee injured, not starter. McLuvin, just not starter. We will see. Expect some mistakes by rookie and 2nd year DBs.
  3. You assume he KNOWS about free agency.
  4. Well put. However, McKelvin was taken out of cover duties, basically benched that I recall, and the Bills just drafted a top 10 DB. They can say they expect him to play well, but they are acting like it. IMO.
  5. When was the last time McGee was healthy, and no, MvLuvin won't be fine, he's horrible and the coaches know it.
  6. Corners: I understand they just drafted for DB, and they rookie hasn't seen the field yet, however he sounds like the real deal, and is said to be intelligent and have ball skills. You're not convinced?
  7. He did finish his career, about five years ago.
  8. I would also go with those first four. Also, to the OP, I would wait to see what happens thi sthird year before saying Nix has done a really nice job. I think this team is probably 8-8, but not going to the playoffs just yet.
  9. I would agree and get BAP at any of the mentioned positions, however, WR is generally not a position you are going to get a lot of production out of the first couple years, in general. IMO. The Bills do need O-line/tackle help, like now, and everyone knows it. Grab the BAP, leaning towards tackle? + 1 LDE would be awesome. Get Kelsay off the field.
  10. Disagree: If the Bills do anything better then 6-10 he stays. 8-8 is likely, IMO, which won't ever make playoffs while N.E. is still in the AFCE. 8-8 is progress. I also think Gailey's offense is going to continue to get exposed, which may be his ultimate downfall.
  11. Very nice post. Very interesting. Thank you. FWIW: I agree with you, the risk of bust is much more acceptable with the new CBA re: draft in top 10, 1st round. You won't see teams get set back because of 1 poor high 1st round bust: as far as the cap anyhow. I can also see many more trades in the top 10: lets see this year how many trades in top 10 and first round overall. I bet there will be a lot more jockeying around. IMO: Trade down, if no impact player available at 10.
  12. McLuvin is horrible, but it't not that the draft is that mcuh of a crap shoot, the Bills have just been worse at it than everybody else: for a long time. Take a look at the DBs drafted by the Bills during failed Levy/Jauron era, and only getting 1 starter. It's not even a crap shoot for the Bills. They would have done better simply buying a couple draft mags, putting together their draft board based on that, and throwing darts to see who they should select in each round. Right, the Bills need another 1st round DB like they need a hole in the head. Draft a 1st round O lineman or WR, maybe LB, or trade down.
  13. Nice post. THX McLuvin doesn't start.
  14. Get like, BETTER! Take care seriously.
  15. I need to see Gailey's O produce at the end of the year, not just the beginning.
  16. This team needs O tackles IMO. The starters for next year right on the O line include Pears and Hairston. What is these guys don't pan out, get hurt, or just aren't that good? + 1 + 1 + 1
  17. LOL Is there a name or term for a response interjected just for the fun of it? Soup is good.
  18. There's some NFL mandate the prohibits the Bills from trading down, only /\ UP. Have the Bills ever traded down?
  19. He gives 100 % 1/2 the time?
  20. Yikes, thanks 'Tosten. I forgot.
  21. How short, like NUBS? So draft him and try him at LT. If he doesn't work out, put him to guard?
  22. Sorry, I couldn't let a good opportunity to rip Kelsay pass. He's not good. His poor play is concealed much better when he doesn't have to move as much, like playing LDE. He can just stay there and not make plays by not moving, instead of not making plays by having to chase people around. Why does our 60-something year old G.M./head coach need two years to learn on the job?
  23. 1 winning season in 12 years. 1, one, UNO. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Buffalo_Bills_seasons
