  1. He's not competent or capable. He seems confused. He also said Spiller was not out there more because he was tired?
  2. Chan just doesn't get it, and if he hasn't by now, he's not going to. It's too bad.
  3. Which means really nothing: more Chan-speak. He would throw every damn down if he thought he could actually get away with it. I question his mental faculties sometimes.
  4. It means they are no longer the very worst D in the league, moved up to # 29 points/game. http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats?archive=false&conference=null&role=OPP&offensiveStatisticCategory=null&defensiveStatisticCategory=SCORING&season=2012&seasonType=REG&tabSeq=2&qualified=true&Submit=Go
  5. + 1 The passing game is not good, the running game is amongst the best in the league by any metrics I have looked at. Gailey insists on throwing.
  6. Well, despite the theory that Chan eliminated the check-down options, someone was calling about 40 running plays and only 17 pass attempts. But you are probably right, this one game is more likely an anomaly and Chan will go back to passing the ball like he had Tom Brady back there. We will see.
  7. Yes. On WGR55 pre-game, one of the guys mentioned that. Like 5 - 24 when throwing 30 + attempts per game. Add todays win to the < 30 category: 15 - 7 ?
  8. LOL. Yeah, the Bills beat one of the worst teams in the league, and it's playoff time. Only in Buffalo.
  9. Maybe we need to play all games at home and in the rain!!! Or, just tell Chan it's raining.
  10. Well, if so, then it's probably going to work: run the hell out of the ball, with Freddy and C.J. Too bad he wouldn't do so when against better teams and when games meant something.
  11. I didn't hear that, but if so, that's B.S.
  12. Yeah, but now Buddy and Chan can claim some level of victory and put off any real changes. This was playoff year, according to them, not 6-10 or 7-9 year. Also, there is a word of difference between being a 7 win team and a 9 or 10 win team.
  13. With the season all but over, again, and 12 games into the 2012 season, Gailey doscovers running game? o 17 pass attempts. o 39 run attempts. I'm sure there is a reaonable explanation, I just don't know what it could be? Flame away. Go Bills.
  14. I don't know, he really doesn't say. Just that he has "confidence" in him and his "qualities". He might be confusing QB qualities with QB intagibles. He has very few qualities as an NFL QB, IMO. Mostly, he doesn't throw well, or far.
  15. You're kind right. Re: winning now and future, and rest of season. I heard the them discussing what NIX was saying about near future, and interpretting that. He also makes almost EVERY missed play or bad play JUST out of reach. It's jusy very old and tiresome to me. Did you hear the stats about Fitz and throwing over/under 30 times? Kelso made his comments after that discussion, I believe.
  16. Keeps the company line with Fitz, has confidence in him at QB. He may be the only one other than Nix and Gailey. I have a very hard time listening to him. Quote - "He has the quailities that you need" - Kelso What are those?
  17. + 1 And Nix hired him.
  18. Maybe the Bills can put up a sign-up sheet outside "the Ralph", like for intramural sports, or volunteering for a bake sale?
  19. Take a chance and throw the ball down field? I know Fitz can't throw, but maybe we get lucky, maybe get an PI call, or maybe somebody catches it? Even a deep INT is like a punt anyhow?
  20. Because we have Gailey and Sh*tzy, and they have whomever and Luck.
  21. Good. We should be talking about who to hire next to get this headed in the right direction.
  22. Well, the good ol' boys have messed this one up worse than Levy/Jauron, if you can believe that. Hire somebody.
