  1. Wow. Must be because this roster is loaded with talent.
  2. I agree. I don't see how the Jets draft a rookie QB with Rex on the hot seat, and looking for help. If anything, drafting a QB is a kiss of death, UNLESS you get an RG3 or Luck, but not a reach QB in the 1st. Not happening.
  3. I love it. I seriously doubt anyone takes Nassib or Barkley 1st round. Certainly not the Jests. We will see. + 1
  4. I don't see the Jets taking a QB given the contract they handed Sanchez, and Ryan being on the hotseat for 2013.
  5. I can't believe the Bills would use a # 8 overall pick for guard at this time, given all the other holes. Trade down, please.
  6. 1. I don't think the Jets move has anything to do with who or what Buffalo does: Sanchez is the Jets QB for now, and Rex Ryan needs players, not a QB prospect he may not be around to coach. 2. Buddy had stated previously he believes if you see a QB you like, you DO move up a round if needed: i.e.: REACH. 3. The Bills aren't going anywhere this year, again, and it looks like they are trying to buy themselves some time via the Kolb pickup. 4. Trading down this year would make a lot of sense, and be a smart draft day move, which is why it won't happen. IMO
  7. If the Bills had any brains in their heads, any, they would trade down or out of the 1st round. They don't.
  8. Actually, the 2009 Bills were 14 in total yards/game, and 17 points/game under Jauron/Fewell.
  9. Thanks Buddy. I get the feeling Buddy thinks getting a QB is like going to the grocery store or market.
  10. Buffalo has drafted 15 DBs since 2006, that I count, many of them very high and also first rounders. Since 2006, the Bills have drafted two (2) QBs that I count.
  11. It does, I'm looking at that now. O-line is much better in recent years.
  12. NOTE: for this first segment, I am including ALL non O-line positions. QB/RB/FB/WR/TE. FWIW: I love Spiller, but he's only 1 player drafted via Nix who is starting here. O Backfield/WR/TE
  13. Understood. Nix and Co. stated they were going to build through the draft, so I'm looking at that. So far the O backfield not looking too good, except Spiller.
  14. NUMARK: OK, I will. Thx. Triple threat: Looking for feedback or concensus re: Nix drafting, either positional or unit? Ex: Nix drafting LB unit: Current Grade : D/F - Incomplete - 2 drafted starters - 1 FA ???
  15. I seem to keep wanting to go back and review the starters (projected) that are on the team that Nix and Co. have drafted. It would seem to make sense that the better teams would have fewer starters drafted over a three year period or maybe more? I perennial playoff team may have fewer as it is harder to break the starting lineup? Actually I would appreciate some feedback on this, hopefully not just from Bills/Nix apologists. QB / O backfield / Receivers / TE QB: KOLB - Philly draft? TE; Chandler - San Diego. RB: Spiller : B-Lo. FB: ? WR: Johnson - Drafted Bills - Not Nix - RD 7? WR: Graham - Drafted Nix - Please NO! QB: Grade D/F - O drafted players - All FA acquisitions TE: Grade C - 1 drafted player on roster - 4 of 5 FA acquisitions. RB: Grade A - 2 drafted player on roster - 1 FA acquisition. FB: Grade C - 0 drafted player on roster - 1 FA acquisition. WR: Grade D/F - 2 drafted player on roster - 4 of 6 drafted Bills - 2 Nix - 1 starter, 1 ? 1.5 starters via Nix draft: Spiller, Graham. O-Line / Center Guard Tackle C: Wood - Drafted Bills - Not Nix. G: Urbik / Brown - No drafted player. T: Glenn / Pears - 1 drafted player on roster. C: Grade INC - 0 drafted players on roster - 1 drafted by Bills - 0 Nix. G: Grade INC - 1 drafted players on roster - 2 FA acquisitions. Urbik B +. T: Grade B - 2 drafted players on roster - 2 FA acquisitions. Glenn B/Pears F. 1 drafted starter via Nix draft: Glenn.
  16. That makes too much sense, besides, Buddy basically came out and said to reach for a QB. I would love for them to trade down and get Barkley.
  17. + 1. Like clockwork. It's hard to win trade in the NFL. For the Bills.
  18. + 1 The Bills aren't going anywhere, this year, again. So trade back or out of the first, pick up as many young players as possible. There are holes all over the place.
  19. Brandon and Buddy don't know what they're talking about: plain and simple. Hence all the losing. Or they think Bills fans are really stupid. And if anyone thinks a rookie NFL coach with a rookie O coordinator from college are going to put up a bunch of points with an O with no QB. Well, never mind. P.S. I DO think the D will be MUCH improved however, and that may help keep the Bills in some low scoring games against equally poor teams.
  20. He took a perennial 7-9 team, and with three years, turned it into a 6-10 team. Voila! And now the Bills are almost forced to reach for a QB.
  21. And Buddy still has a job, and took a 7-9 to a 6-10 team within 3 years, and he's going for more. Plus we have NO QB. Possibly worst Bills G.M. in 20 years.
  22. No post/sig line can hold the iron. It must come from Bills fan.
  23. I can't ever remember the Bills trading down or back. They might think you get fined for lose your place in line forever, or have to remain in the subsequent position for the remainder of the draft, or even that the "draft demon" will move the Buffalo Bills around in the draft randomly as shown by the big magic talking picture box on the wall! Ol' Buddy may not KNOW you can trade picks?
