  1. Why not start a petition to have people sign up to NOT buy season tickets? That may actually have an impact?
  2. Pursuing Continuity With Buddy Nix, Chan Gailey = consistency = status quo. Let them play the "status quo" card this year, and see how many fewer tickets they sell. Also, players aren't stupid and they will begin to understand the Bills aren't really that interested in winning. Besides, if Ralph doesn't know Chan is losing the team he will next year. It could get ugly fast. Next year's schedule may not be as kind.
  3. I am listening to WGR55 online as I amon the left coast, and they are looping comments Gailey made re: the defense. It's a little confusing but still pretty funny. He basically says you have to look at the defense as a whole, or the whole body of work or some other nonsense, and then goes on to say that many of the stats are misleading because of INTs returned for TDs??? What???? Gailey is either: A) delusional B) not seeing the same D everyone else is. C) just full of it D) just saything the first thing that comes to mind. He must think everyone is stupid. The Bills D is again tied for 31st in the league for defense points/game. http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats?tabSeq=2&season=2012&seasonType=REG&role=OPP&d-447263-n=1&d-447263-o=1&d-447263-p=1&statisticCategory=GAME_STATS&conference=ALL&d-447263-s=TOTAL_POINTS_GAME_AVG Oh yeah, your D just gave up 50 to a rookie QB. Nice job.
  4. Agree on QB needed badly, and LB is horrid. I am not sold on the receivers either.
  5. I hear what you are saying: How would they have faired. A number of things come to mind, mostly that if they had had a rookie or 2nd year QB, they wouldn't have signed Fitz to that ridiculous contract which they are basically stuck with. And now they have too many holes to fill again, and have landed in what is considered a poor QB draft. Other teams have rookie or 2nd year guys starting. Maybe if they had someone the season may no thav been lost. Will never know for sure. Buffalo just got worked by a rookie QB I believe.
  6. Buffalo Bills Pursuing Continuity So they're going after more of what they already have: losing.
  7. OK, maybe, maybe not. Get someone: 1. Who isn't 70 + years old. 2. Who isn't taking a nap when free agency starts. 3. Who doesn't wait until four years into the rebuild process before realizing they have no QB. Let's start with that?
  8. + 1 I predicted 8 - 8. Oh well.
  9. Fine, OK, fire or leave Whaley alone. Even more important to get someone in here ASAP. But that would leave the G.M. search and selection process to Ralph, and I just don't see him doing that or anything really..
  10. I'm sure you're right: keep everything the way it is.
  11. To Be Clear: Nothing at all, he doesn't. I am assuming Ralph won't hire an actual G.M., promote whoever from within, and go from there. I can't see Ralph doing anything of consequence re: a G.M..
  12. It's not that Whaley is prep'ing, it's that Nix and company won't be: Figure iut who's in charge of what, bring on some draft consultants, and get going. Why wait? What's the purpose of holding off?
  13. Why let Nix hang around to draft a QB, mess it up, or force the organization to live with that pick. The next coach probably won't like the guy and draft another anyhow.
  14. Ralph called his annual summit in Detroit re: the state of the Bills sometime after the season ends. Stop it. The new guard needs to get in there and get prep'ing for the draft. Don't let Buddy screw up another draft by forcing him to pick a QB: he can't. Start now, get a fresh start, and maybe you can get a decent coach in here before they're all gone. IMO. Merry Christmas.
  15. I think the Hawks defense is going to be more of the problem?
  16. + 1 ?? you can't pay a backup QB $8 9 10 million a year to sit on the bench.
  17. You're 4th (fourth) draft in, and NOW you want a QB? Nice job Buddy. To answer your question: not really. Look who he hired for head coach, and look what he's done with the most important position in Pro football. Nothing. Get either of those things right and you're probably OK for a year or so. If they do draft a QB, it will just give the "be patient" crowd at OBD, another year or two. I would do anything to get a real QB in there, I just don't believe Buddy is the guy to do it. And it will take 2-3 years to figure out of he's right. Sad.
  18. Both. I don't really think Chan understands what he is saying half the time. BS. Gailey has not won 7 games in a season since coming to B-Lo and he won't this year either, This team will never have the talent to overcome the bad coaching, which will cso them probably two games a year.
  19. Bills defense points/game: 27th in league. Most likely in part due to the poor quality of opponents last several weeks. http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats?seasonType=REG&offensiveStatisticCategory=null&d-447263-n=1&d-447263-o=1&d-447263-p=1&d-447263-s=TOTAL_POINTS_GAME_AVG&tabSeq=2&season=2012&role=OPP&Submit=Go&archive=false&conference=null&defensiveStatisticCategory=SCORING&qualified=false
  20. Wow. Awesome. You must get this pinned somehow. Thanks for the effort!
  21. About 1 minute BEFORE the game ending pick, I actually stated on the "Shout Box", something along the lines of about time for Fitz to throw the pick. There were like 25 people logged on, so someone had to have seen it. Just saying. Steve Stojan - " like clockwork".
  22. Yeah, or maybe he just doesn't realize who's been out there and who's not during the course of the game?
  23. So. According to Gailey, Spiller get 3 carries immediately after the half-time break, and he's spent for the rest of the game???
  24. How many of those carries were in the 2nd half?
