  1. Correct. So what does that add to the Marrone O coordinator input, using a college O coordinator. Just asking, as I certainly don't know of any credentials that says he is an offensive guru capable to tutoring a rookie O coordinator. The O may take a step back in any event. I hope so, but Russ Brandon said the changes did not effect Nix authority or power. He also was adamant that the team had MUCH more talent on it than three years ago. We will see how good the D is with a real D coordinator who knows what he's doing. I have high hopes for this D.
  2. That's true, and I expect he will have a large role in O game planning, but he doesn't have Drew Brees back there throwing the ball either.
  3. Rebuilt? You mean used a # 2 to get Cordy Glenn?
  4. Having a real question at CB with Gilmore, and basically no LBs, you can't have that much money tied up in the safety position, IMO.
  5. What if the rookie O coordinator isn't great? He's a college O coordinator with no NFL experience. I think it's naive not to expect a huge learning curve against seasoned D coordinators. No?
  6. Has Kelsay EVER been in a winning team? I guess the 9-7 team under Williams, or was it Mularkey: been so long I can't remember.
  7. Buddy Nix needs to go, seriously. We've seeen what he can do and it's not good. Kelsay AND Fitz are two of the three highest paid players on the team currently, if I'm reading the article correctly. Man, so sad. FYI: Nice post, you beat me to it.
  8. Kelsay. Kelsay. Kelsay.
  9. Interesting: The only people who did NOT see this seem to have been the coach and the G.M.. And the usual posters (Fitz apologists). They will show up, shortly. The G.M. is still here?
  10. Nice post/stats. Do you find the number of drops for Jones? I have been surfing for a website that has those stats, but no luck. FWIW: I'm not againts keeping him, just don't really know what a 3 or 4 receiver gets.
  11. Based on what? #3 or #4 wide receivers are not that difficult to find, just for the Bills.
  12. The Bills/Buddy seem to like receivers that drop too many balls: they drafted one last year. So, they already have a receiver on the roster that drops too many balls: they need two (2)? T.J. Graham
  13. How much do you pay a 3rd or 4th receiver that doesn't catch well, has durability issues, and doesn't really catch that many balls? He had 41 receptions last year in Gailey's pass happy offense.
  14. I would rather clear out ALL the dead wood/marginal players and start from scratch. IMO Fitz, Kelsay, Wilson, Mcluvin. For starters.
  15. We need a real QB: + 1 Q: Why does anyone here believe that Buddy is the guy to draft a QB, when he has been so apparently sold on Fitz that he basically ignored the position for the last three drafts in a row, no QB's except a 7th rounder, and passed on two QBs in last years draft that were throwing the playoffs? Just asking: I don't think he can do it.
  16. Llke re-doing the Toronto series! 5 years. I wonder if Ralph gets all that money (shekels) up front?
  17. Seriously: Only Stevie would go to the Super Bowl looking for pub., and come out looking like an idiot.
  18. Well, at least it only took Ralph a decade to figure out he needed to stop screwing around with the team..
  19. Dude isn't terribly bright. Seriously.
  20. Fitz can't throw downfield, and isn't great at anything else either. How Spiller managed to get the yards he did on the ground with a QB like Fitz, who isn't any threat at all, is simply beyond me.
  21. Yes, he's a backup basically. Just not in Buffalo.
  22. I would LOVE to see Fitz playing outside of Buffalo!!!
