Maybin...are you kidding?

I'm preparing for that. SF seems to be a thorn on our side with the draft.

Monroe will probably go to the Bengals...Smith and Oher still in play at #11?

Russ Brandon -This could b bad news
buffaloaggie replied to Heart Throb's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Rumor has it Washington is moving up to #8 to go after Sanchez if he's still out there. All I know is I hope we move down, get an extra pick or two, and get Pettigrew and English, Beatty or Britton. It seems like every team is in the market for an OT. Teams will be drafting OT's sooner than expected. -
At least they have B.J. Raji as a DT in this mock. Yesterday, one of the moron Globe and Mail football experts had him as one of the top four Oh-fensive Tackles on the draft. Gotta love Canadians lending their expertise on the NFL draft.

Alex Mack at pick 28?
buffaloaggie replied to Turn Down For Watkins's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Just use both 1st round picks on OL. Oher and Mack. I'd be very happy with those two! -

Sources: Peters to Eagles for three picks

6th rounder in 2010 is the undisclosed pick according to CBS -
All I know is the Bills better go nuts in Free Agency. If Ralph was making the move for T.O. in order to get a Super Bowl before he dies, giving up their best OL should not be part of the plan. I would imaging Oher is now the pick, with Pettigrew being eyed at 28th if he's still around. Maybe Mack from Cal might be that pick also. Fill your defensive needs through FA, and draft nothing but OL in the first few rounds this year.

Madden Retiring from broadcasting

But now, who replaces him? Collinsworth? -
Not at all. Peters has it in his mind, thanks to his agent, that he should be the highest paid OT in the league. I love the fact that Madden 09 dictates the OT pay scale in the NFL. Peters was named to the Pro Bowl twice, loves that recognition, but has yet to play a down in a Pro Bowl. His play last year didn't warrant a Pro Bowl selection. If they could trade him, and get at least a first rounder and some other picks, I'd welcome a trade. He is going to become even more trouble this season, and with T.O. on board, the Bills do not need that. He is not the best tackle in the NFL. He deserves more than what he's getting paid, but not top dollar.

Cutler trade and how it changes the dynamics of the draft
buffaloaggie replied to Magox's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We'll be trading with someone if the Broncos don't move up. Either the Jets will trade up, or the Broncos will have to trade up one spot to guarantee no one else trades with the Bills. I doubt we'd want to trade with the Jets to give them a franchise QB, so I can see the Broncos moving up one spot. Of course, that's assuming one of the other teams above us doesn't trade down. It'll be interesting to see how draft day goes. -
Preston's Comments on the Bills as a Packer
buffaloaggie replied to LynchMob23's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Apart from the New England game, this is the only other time that Duke Preston has made any kind of headlines. The fact that Buffalo did not want him should speak volumes of his "ability". I'll just call Duke Preston "Mr Irrelevant" now. BTW, who's knocking on J.P.'s door to sign him to a lucrative contract? We traded up for J.P. Losman and John McCargo...awesome. Poz too, so we did good once. Meatloaf sang that "Two Out of Three Ain't Bad", so what's one out of three, besides a good batting average? -
They only let me out of my jail cell twice a year.

I'm with you!!! Let's call it EMPIRE SPORTS NETWORK!!! What???!!! Oh...

Looks like him to me. Can't say anything about whether T.O. drinks or not. Is this stated somewhere, or are you just saying it to try to refute this story? Just the facts, mack. IMO, I don't think the cops would have let him go if he was that drunk, let alone drunk at all. I'm sure there is a lot of embellishment in this story.

Reading comments from Chiefs fans saying "good riddance" and the guy sucked here, I hope this signing was for the league minimum and this move serves as nothing more than roster filler. If he sucked with the Chiefs, he'll pretty much suck anywhere!

4 year $23 Million Dollars
buffaloaggie replied to Yasin's BILLS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
While I was a fan of Jabari, I think the point people are making is that the market typically overpays Cornerbacks in free-agency. Look at Drayton Florence (last year), DeAngelo Hall (though that was a trade and then a waiver pickup), and our beloved Nate Clements. For those of you that want to tout Clements, I'll admit, he is good, but 10 mil a year good? How many Pro Bowls has he been to since the signing? All in all, a CB can be made by good pressure on a QB. All those years the Bills kept taking DB after DB in the first round of the draft in the 90's, when they should have been getting Bruce Smith help. They finally did by signing Paup. With that said, the fact that the Bills were terrible rushing the QB last year makes what Greer did even better. He'll do fine in NO, but Buffalo better get some help at DL and LB, then McGee, McKelvin and Youbouty's jobs will be much easier. -
