  1. So many memories of the Braves and Randy Smith... Bob McAdoo and Randy Smith were the cornerstones of that team, with apologies to Ernie D. Rest in Peace and thanks for the memories
  2. Jerry Cantrell wrote most of the songs, so it'll be interesting to hear their first release since Layne Staley's passing. Saw them in concert last year. DuVall wasn't bad, but it wasn't the same. Staley was the greatest voice in rock since Robert Plant. Need to mention Queensryche as a favorite 90's band.
  3. Sorry to hear...my deepest sympathies to you and your family, Annmarie.
  4. I guess he's trying to guarantee himself at least a three year stay. Buddy only got two years in his stint with the Cardinals.
  5. Double duty for Berman. Should be fun to be in Canton that weekend!
  6. I can agree with your point on the Broncos fans. They are a bunch of turncoats. I went to a game at Mile High years ago, and the fans were pretty lame. Rating road fans in other cities that I've been to: Broncos - lame Redskins - good fans...very willing to talk to other team's fans Bears - great fans, friendly, but of course they were happy since the Bears kicked the Bills @$$ Cowboys and Dolphins - absolute jerks, can't stand their fan bases Steelers - same as Bears Chargers - very laid back, of course Cardinals - fans kinda suck. They'll go from "I could care less" to "hey..I'm a huge fan now that we got to a Super Bowl!" Texans - snore, but they were a new team Falcons - decent fans when they show Bucs - OK fans, no real problem with them Saints - good fans, good time Titans - kind of obnoxious and they'd prefer to talk about the Tennessee Volunteers and the SEC rather than the Titans
  7. You could argue this 'til you're blue in the face. I'll take our fan base anytime. All of the top ten have an argument, except for the fair weather Cowboys fans. They'll all say they were there for them through the lean years, but I lived in Dallas in the late eighties, and I went to a few games. I had plenty of room to spread out thanks to all of the empty seats. If there were a list of biggest bandwagon fans, I'd put the Cowboys at #1, definitely.
  8. Remember, it's T.O.. He lives for drama and he'll need an excuse to get out of Buffalo after one year, so he wants to paint Buffalo as being against him and that he's just so misunderstood. I wonder if he's ever heard the concept of "turning the other cheek".
  9. At least someone gets it. The Chinese are not going to be able to do anything with Hummer. I can only laugh at the people that bought one of these pieces of crap. The Japanese are the ones that take our research and improve upon it. China, not so much. That's why they have to have American companies come in to build and provide the technology for things like their Olympic swimming venue, for just one example.
  10. Good information to store away, but we are a couple of months away still. Once camp starts in July, this could become a huge issue. Any RB the Eagles put behind this O-Line will have a great year. McNabb will be a great pick this year too.
  11. And who would Cheney and W compare to? Ah, yes...Ren and Stimpy
  12. Most of the hype about Peters came from Madden 2008 rating him as the best LT. Otherwise, I don't think many outside of WNY would have paid much attention to Jason Peters.
  13. You know, if we take the play calling out of Schonert's hands, we may be better off. As people point out, Trent's a smart guy, so as long as his brain doesn't get scrambled from lack of O-line protection, we'll be OK.
  14. I'd say that if we had tremendous depth on our Defensive Line, we'd have no worries, but instead we have 40,000 DB's and apparently can't draft enough DB's to satisfy Jauron. Remember that our gassed defense couldn't tackle Mark Ingram to stop him from getting a first down in SB XXV? Yes, you are absolutely correct.
  15. There's the scoop...end of discussion
  16. Which makes sense being a Wolverine. He'll end his career at home in Michigan.
  17. Back to square one. If the Bears do release Hillenmeyer, we can pick up their scraps on the cheap, just the way the Bills FO wants it.
  18. We got talent at the skill positions, except maybe QB, but our big question mark, as Stevie Wonder even knows, is our OL. 1999 Rams = 2009 Bills? ===> Wishful thinking
  19. Yes, bro, a 4th year, 4500 yard passing QB. Last I checked, having a stud QB makes a huge difference for an NFL team. I think it's pretty fair to say that a QB that threw for 4500+ yards in Denver will make some Chicago WR into a big producer, no matter whether you say it's Hester, Olson, Juaquin Iglesias, Earl Bennett or Rashied Davis. Plus, Chicago's offensive play calling would be much more diverse with a QB with an arm like Cutler's. Plus, he actually has a good dependable RB in Chicago, instead of the fragile cast of thousands in Denver. Let's hope Chicago's D doesn't get better as a result of them signing Tinoisamoa. If you only go by the amount of press, Chicago appears to have the inside track. I wish someone in the Buffalo media had a better "in" with Tinoisamoa's camp.
  20. Hopkins = Douche Bag He probably has TBD to thank for his well-read, poorly written article. Wonder if he's read Journalism for Dummies?
  21. Throwing LB numbers out there: Cato June - 1 yr, 1.5 mil Keith Brooking 3 yrs, 6 mil Jonathan Vilma 5 yrs, 34 mil, 17 mil guaranteed Angelo Crowell 1 yr, 3 mil, up to 4.6 mil with escalators So where does Tinoisamoa fall on this list?
  22. Donald Driver...overshadowed most of this career
  23. Is it such a secret that you can't name this player?...HUNTER HILLENMEYER
  24. I don't see how you can say the Vikings are easily the class of the division. Minnesota won their division by one whole game and Chicago just added a franchise QB, while the Vikings upgraded with Sage Rosenfels? As far as who Tinoisamoa signs with, it's all going to come down to who antes up to his asking price.
  25. Fewell was a secondary coach in St. Louis, not a LB coach. He was there at the same time as Tinoisamoa.
