Jets expected to fire Todd Bowles
KD in CA replied to CommonCents's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree the Jets usually play hard, but too many games like the recent one against GB where they blow a winnable game. -
Don't forget Marin. I think my options are either Fairfax (boonies) or SF. Pretty sure Mill Valley outlawed it before the legalization vote was even on the ballot.

ND offensive line is just ok; they struggled to establish a running game several times this year. Dexter Williams was more of a home run hitter this year. Clemson's defensive was terrific and Book played maybe his worst game -- obviously the two were largely related. I thought ND's defense played pretty well....if Love doesn't go down in the first half there's no way Clemon scores on all those long TDs in the second quarter. Because nothing says you belong like losing to Purdue by 29. They lost by 49 yesterday by the way.

I really want one of the appointments to come during the summer of 2020 when Dems are hysterically invoking the Garland example. Nothing better than watching Dems choke on someone else's hypocrisy since they are so incapable of recognizing their own.

Isn't that repetitive? Trump is the bad guy every day.

4 year, $36 million extension for Quincy Enunwa
KD in CA replied to DCOrange's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Shows you what teams are willing to pay for a guy who has some rapport with their rookie QB. -
Sounds like some social engineering a-holes decided they'd 'improve' the slums by connecting them to civilized areas. That always works. In general, if it's just a bike/hike path (obviously allowing motorized vehicles changes the story) through similar communities that's not a problem. From that picture, it seems like there would still be a reasonable tree line on either side of the path blocking views to those houses.

Are great quarterbacks worth the money?
KD in CA replied to jaybee's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Now we go back to he sucks and isn't worth it because the Colts haven't gone to a Super Bowl......apparently like every other QB in the AFC aside from Brady. -
Pretty much....yeah. The fact is, 1) the policies matter more than if he's an insufferable douchebag, 2) even if he were ten times more insufferable he'd still be preferable to Hillary, and 3) you can't help but enjoy the absurd notion of Hillary voters whining about a dishonest President. But be prepared for a long wait for another Republican to be in the WH. That's at least ten years away and probably longer.

KD in CA replied to jaybee's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes great QBs are worth the money. They give your team a chance to win and they fill the stands. I'm not sure why you choose to list the five highest paid QBs when your question was about the greatest QBs. QBs are not paid based on their ranking vs their peers. They are paid based on potential to improve their team and current market conditions at the time they sign their contracts. Because the salary cap keeps going up and the league keeps making rules to favor QBs, the price for QBs will continue to rise and the QBs who have more recently signed contracts will, in general, be the highest paid for some period of time. -
After unfriending the pyramid scheme dopes, the idiots who hyperventilate over politics every day, and the people who constantly post pictures of their dog or cat, or other uninteresting minutia, all I had left was ads. It was an improvement.

16 questions with Bills Legend Roscoe Parrish
KD in CA replied to TucsonBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
In fairness, a lot of people here pretended he was better than he really was during his career too. Legendary for being yet another terrible Bills draft pick. -
Nope. Who’s doing that on Christmas Day with kids, family gatherings, dinner, etc? We took care of business Christmas Eve.

I don't believe in the 3 year plan happening in '19
KD in CA replied to PUNT750's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Obviously they should fire Beane and McDermott and cut Allen (bust) and start the new 3 year plan over. Only this time challenge for a Super Bowl in year 1 of the new rebuild. That's the only acceptable plan to the vocal minority. -
Again people..... This is the first year of a REBUILD
KD in CA replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Highly dependent on existing contracts wrt salary cap situation.....and whether you already have a QB or need to go draft one. But yes, 2019 is a show-me year for the Bills -
No, it's a stupid question. Obviously, the rule is part of the objective standard over what it means to be "down". If no part of the body other than hands and feet touch the ground a guy is not down. It amazing to me how people here b---h about the officiating yet want to make every damn rule in the book even MORE subjective.
