  1. Andrew Luck is done...with rehabbing his shoulder...and has a coach who can take full advantage of what he can do. Happy for Frank to be in this situation.
  2. I'm hearing Hilary Clinton is on the phone to Dorsey right now...she was offended that she wasn't the first former Secretary of State he considered. She has developed quite an accurate arm from throwing stuff at Bill. Thinks she can help Baker's development. https://nypost.com/2015/04/05/when-hillary-hit-bill-with-a-book-and-other-white-house-tales/
  3. He took a mediocre roster and made the playoffs last year. It was a lot of luck but to have the team in that position was unexpected. That would be my counter-argument to those who say he is in over his head. Yes, he has ***** up the QB position with loyalty to Nate, who clearly is not an NFL talent, but I question whether the Bills would have won those games anyway. This year he had no choice the second time he started Nate. He also is not the most skilled clock manager yet. There are things to work on.....
  4. 3-0 versus the top 6 in the Sabres last three games. 3 First Round Draft Picks the coming draft. Talent in Rochester.... Long-term winning in the Sabres future. Hopefully, a year from now we see the same bright future on the Gridiron for the Bills.
  5. Shad Kahn and Tom Coughlin may martyr Saint Doug if this keeps up....
  6. Where can I get a Sabres "Sutton" Jersey? Using an old John Butler (God rest his soul) term, Tre is a fine young man. He's also a helluva of a football player.
  7. McD said he had confidence in Peterman yesterday.... Dak makes really curious plays at critical moments. Like hitting the ball off his hip and losing it while running
  8. Does anyone who wants to continue to play Barkley if Josh is healthy, honestly believe that Barkley is the future of this team? I understand the need for immediate gratification and winning now, but that's not what this year is about. Disagree all you want with the strategy and the vision, but starting Matt Barkley if Josh is healthy would be crazy. By sitting Josh, the Bills would go into the offseason with a high draft pick and not knowing whether QB was a need or not. I would rather know a bit more. Six live games of reps is a lot of evaluation.... If Josh shows some critical flaws these last 6 weeks, it's not that terrible to draft competition with a high pick. Josh is on a Rookie deal -- if he plays for the Bills in 2019 his cap hit is about $6.8 million to cut him before 2020. Josh was the least polished, least experienced QB of the top 5 (including Lamar Jackson) in the draft. He needs reps. For the upteenth millionth time,.... this season is about assessing Josh Allen, not about winning games, particularly at 3-7.
  9. Hmmmmm--Can he still suit up? He would immediately move past Peterman and Barkley. ? Vic Carucci‏Verified account @viccarucci One-on-One Coverage: WNY's @JawsCEOQB 'disappointed' he never got to play for the #Bills.
  10. Limited is the perfect description: Limited effort, limited engagement, limited hands, etc. The only thing unlimited is his access to the lunchroom...
  11. I still pine for Mularkey....that one really took the sails out of my wind.
  12. They have to cut Peterman to move him to the practice squad.
  13. Here's my prediction. Nate will be cut at the end of this week going into the bye. The only reason Nate saw the field this week was because he was the only healthy QB who knew the playbook. Hell, before this week McD even said he was an emergency QB only. Allen-Anderson and Barkley (maybe) will be the QBs for the final six games after the bye. Allen will be the starter. I expected an awful year...if you didn't expect an awful year, you weren't watching. The Wood and Incognito situations made it bad, the QB injuries made it untenable. This is the worst offense since the 1983-85 period....reminds us how bad things can be. I have hope this can turnaround. Beane had a lot to do with the Panthers OL and skill positions. Players like McCaffery, Olson and Samuels were drafted with him in a key role and some good OL came there as well. Take heart my Bills brothers and sisters. Better days are ahead.
  14. The Raiders. Gruden doesn't need to scout. He molds anyone into an all-pro. ?
  15. I thought it was going to be Colton Schmidt. Its been corrected-- Bills go 8-0 the rest of the way.
  16. Sorry for your loss, Jim. I love the Attica story...too funny. November, 1969... a young man from our neighborhood in NT is playing for the Bengals. Dad takes me to the Bills-Bengals game at the Rockpile. It was a massive snow game. There is a foot of snow in our laps at the end of the 1st half. I am shivering. Dad is his usual tough exterior. At halftime, we get a hot chocolate. While drinking the hot chocolate, Dad says to me "Do you want to go home?' We were going to see our player/neighbor that night at a neighborhood party. I said, "No, I want to see Eddie tackle OJ." You can't see the field from our seats the opening kickoff of the second half its snowing so hard. Dad says, excitedly, "Look, Eddie tackled OJ on the kickoff." I said, "Great let's go". Years later I ask Dad, "How did you see Eddie tackle OJ on that play?" Dad says, "It was my Dad goggles".... Toughest and gentlest man I ever knew....
  17. Honestly, does the Raiders D think this is a pre-game walk-through?????
  18. ...you are being way too kind my friend.
  19. Man, the Raiders suck. Poorly coached....on just about every play tonight someone on the D has lost contain, bitten on a fake or given up leverage...that just poor attention to detail and not working hard enough during the week. I guess it was a short week.
  20. http://thestroudcourier.com/2018/11/01/esu-coaches-pay-tribute-to-denny-douds/ Not the way I would have done it, but what the hell. Its pretty ego-centric but he wanted to exit his way. I think it lacks a little respect for the game..but God bless him. 53 years as a coach and 45 years at East Strousburg... universally loved and admired. He seems like the type of coach that men who played for him think about when they are asked about their key mentor or role-model. I'd probably say he was the anti-Vontae. Enjoy retirement coach.....
  21. Inside Leverage over the middle; outside leverage on the sideline; accelerating through cuts; crisp edges on cuts whether slants or outs and using your body (not hands) to gain a throwing window are all keys to a good separation WR. The Bills WR and TE crew as a whole are really lacking in game speed and technique. A good example is Croom's near TD. He had outside leverage but was more concerned with fending off the defender with his hand than getting this hand up for the catch. There's no excuse for this. He could have used his torso better to gain the edge and employed two hands on the catch. All this said another essential element of separation is anticipatory throws.....Bills have no QB right now who makes consistent anticipatory throws. Every NFL QB can make these throws sometimes but its doing it with Aaron Rodgers or Tom Brady 80% consistency that's the key. The windows in the NFL are really small....they get even smaller if a QB can't make anticipatory throws.
  22. I don't know her, but I am in love with Lindsey Hauschka ?? Lindsey Hauschka‏ @lindseyhauschka 3h3 hours ago I can honestly say after 12 years together @StephenHauscka4 has never held me the way he’s holding @Schmidttykicker
  23. Hire Brian Billick this second Terry Pegula....make him the Director of Bills Twitter Responses. This is awesome.
