  1. Could it be the third no-punt game in NFL history? https://ftw.usatoday.com/2014/09/no-punting-nfl-record-chicago-bears-green-bay-packers
  2. It was a selfish move--I got to talk with him for 10 minutes more...awesome man. My wife said I was not just a jock-sniffer but now a grandpa of a jock, jock-sniffer...
  3. I sat next to Eric's Grandfather (PhD in education/World Ambassador for the State Department) on a plane about 6 months ago...we had an awesome 90-minute conversation and my wife and I helped him curbside to his son (Eric's dad) in New Orleans. Eric comes from very, very good stock.
  4. ?Get that young man a breast and his daddy a beer! Welcome to the club.
  5. Alshon Jeffrey was cleared to practice yesterday, so the Eagles are less attractive. He won't likely be interested in the Pats -- Edelman is off suspension next week and Gordon will be worked in. Robiskie knows him. If he vouches for him, Beane has probably already been in touch with the agent. It won't make a difference this week, so I doubt anything happens until next Tuesday. Bills will likely want to keep both Foster and McCloud active for Green Bay. If this would happen, McD needs to be prepared for the narrative that he just had someone quit on him, now he is bringing in a player who quit on his team. Sully and Bucky will be all over this in their new forum.
  6. Panthers are now better than they were with the injured guys Eric replaces. Would have loved to see him playing the Rafael Bush role for the Bills but Bush is doing a pretty darn good job.
  7. McD: Bless me, father, for I have sinned. I dropped an F-Bomb on one of our receivers. Buffalo Priest not accused of any sex crime (the one or two left ??) Coach, I have seen your receiving corps. Your penance is to drop 1000 more F-bombs on them.
  8. Kirby, I absolutely agree but here's my "other side of the coin." Ray Ray and Foster, in particular, are practice squad material (maybe). They are on the 53 drawing a full paycheck. Ray Ray needs to understand this isn't Clemson. Dabo's not going to be there to burp him and change his poopy diaper. Leave that crap in college and take every rep in game prep practices like a pro. Don't give me a Saturday walk-through goofy catch in a Wednesday practice. McD was right to jump on this.
  9. Number 25 can play....just like he is telling Josh to make sure people say Number 17 can play.
  10. Moore is refusing try-outs. Rumor from some of the rag-sites on the Internets today is that his arm is shot. https://www.yardbarker.com/nfl/articles/matt_moore_turns_down_titans_workout/s1_14819_27356009
  11. Not very exciting. Back then Number 12 was a swing at every pitch kind of guy. Hannah was and is a beautiful woman. After several attempts number 12 got the message. One of Number 12 ‘s teammates from the University of Miami, Tony Fitzpatrick, was on the team. Along with Jim’s brothers their standard line to Jim was that he was lucky he was a quarterback because he was so ugly he would get no action otherwise. It was a fun time. Even in his younger days, Jim was one of the finest people I ever met surrounded by a wonderful family.
  12. I was an intern for the Gamblers.. I witnessed that story JoPar.... ?
  13. Hannah covered the Houston Gamblers for 97 Rock in Houston in 1984-5. Her dad was an exec with the Rockets. She has done basketball play by play but her first love is football. This is likely a dream come true. She will knock it out of the park with play by play. If you think Freddie Jackson and Vance McDonald's stiff arms on Chris Conte were impressive...Hannah did a great job of stiff arming a certain legendary Bills QB back in the day....devastated him...
  14. Burt Lancaster would have been called for roughing the passer on Deborah Kerr ...
  15. If this were the PPP board I would say a seat on the SCOTUS, but it's not so I won't...?
  16. I was there for the preseason game against the Bengals. Sent Monty (chapter President) the Bills flag we got with our season tickets. Its hanging in the bar... Its really a fun crew. The Northstar doesn't serve food but you can bring in what you want.
  17. Tullamore Dew, real whip cream, two sugar cubes, steeping for bit...man...I can taste it right now....
  18. That's one of the conditions of the conditional pick ?
  19. Ian Rapoport‏Verified account @RapSheet 4m4 minutes ago The #Packers are placing veteran CB Davon House on Injured Reserve, source said. That explains GB working out a bunch of FA CBs.
  20. Mike Rodak‏Verified account @mikerodak 7m7 minutes ago The Bills acquired a conditional late-round pick in 2021 from the Panthers for OL Marshall Newhouse, a source told @DNewtonespn. 3 replies 8 retweets 6 likes Not far off Kelly... Whoever is acquired with this pick (if the conditions are met) will be a better pass blocker than Marshall Newhouse even if its a punter, kicker or long snapper
  21. The Fedora may be a more effective pass blocker than Newhouse.... Vic Carucci‏Verified account @viccarucci 2m2 minutes ago #Bills announce they’ve signed OL Jeremiah Sirles to a one-year contract & traded T Marshall Newhouse to Carolina for a future, conditional draft pick.
  22. One of Cam's Fedoras, perhaps?
  23. Box of tape? A couple deflated balls?
  24. My wife is a native. We visit 2 or 3 times a year. Our business also has a client based there. It's my favorite city....like a mini-walkable NYC with the ethnic neighborhoods packed in. Bills Backers bar in SF is the Northstar Cafe (no food) -- but a great crew of folks if you are there for the game. 1560 Powell St, San Francisco, CA 94133 Just around the corner from Northstar is Cafe Trieste -- 601 Vallejo St, San Francisco, CA 94133 Best Latte I have had in a long long time-- with real homemade biscotti We discovered this place about 5 years ago. Great food. Its upstairs and hard to find. The Fried Quail is awesome.. Hong Kong Clay Pot Restaurant 4.3 (525) · $ · Chinese 960 Grant Ave, San Francisco, CA 94108 Last summer we went to City Lights Bookstore (awesome) and then went down the block and had dinner at Caffe' Macaroni --59 Columbus Ave, San Francisco, CA 94111-Sat next to and talked with Orlando Cepeda And a trip is not complete without an Irish Coffee at the BV - the Buena Vista Cafe on the edge of Fisherman's Wharf..2765 Hyde St, San Francisco, CA 94109
  25. I didn't interpret the OP as solely focused on retirement. I interpreted it as something that was humiliating, contributing to an eventual good outcome. Nate's first half against the Ravens got Josh on the field. That's it....
